Nous sommes venues un vendredi matin dans ce petit café. Ambiance décontractée, beau décor original. J'ai commandé un matcha latte avec un jambon-beurre; mon amie a pris l'oeuf & ses mouillettes. Le sandwich était bon, avec le pain bien croquant; le matcha était aussi délicieux (j'ai pris avec lait de vache)! Le service était bien (il n'y avait pas beaucoup de monde à notre arrivée, ça s'est rempli vers le midi). Seul bémol: j'ai trouvé l'endroit un peu dispendieux (sandwich assez petit pour 13$, heureusement que je n'avais pas trop faim à la base). Avec tip, cela a avoisiné les 24$, ce qui me semble un peu au-dessus de la moyenne.

As a near-daily customer, the employees of Super Condiments have now become long-time friends of mine. But like the start of all great relationships, they tend to begin with a warm cup of amazing coffee & mouth-watering food. The Super Grilled Cheese is to die for, as well as their amazingly-priced Jambon-Beurre sandwich. Best latte in the city hands down. Vibes 10/10, take your date here, take your partner here, you won't regret one second of it!

Il y a environ 1 an j'ai retrouvé des cheveux dans mon sandwich… J'ai voulu donner une deuxième chance aujourd'hui compte tenu que j'appréciai l'endroit auparavant, mais le service m'a vraiment déçu. Tout d'abord, sans même me saluer on me dit que je ne peux pas utiliser la toilette réservée aux clients… étant seule je ne voulais pas laisser mon sac à main à table sans surveillance. Ensuite, la même serveuse me demande de changer de table pour accommoder un couple qui venait d'arriver & ne voulait pas être assis au bar. J'étais en train de finir mon repas. Je ne me suis pas senti accueilli du tout.
Cool music vibes. Iced latte is a coffee drink with ice & milk. Ices latte was tasty & cold. White chocolate & vanilla scone/biscuit was a fun combo. My friend Chris described the shop as "right on Van Horne & I heard the sandwiches are good".
Un café SUPER sympa, une épicerie fine bien riche. La décoration est très joyeuse & pleine d'énergie, leurs chaises sont confortables. J'ai goûté leur latte qui était très délicieux fait avec amour, & SUPER bien présenté! Ils ont un menu sandwichs & des choix végétariens. L'employée était très gentille & très accueillante, souriante & dynamique. Recommandé!
J’ai pris le super grilled cheese au porc effiloché.
Ceci se veut une critique constructive : le pain & le porc goûtent bon, mais le fromage fumé, quoiqu’une bonne idée sur papier, ne goûte pas bon dans l’ensemble.
Je n’ai pas aimé le goût de la sauce BBQ non plus, il y a quelque chose de “off” qui m’empêcherait d’y revenir (note: je cuisine & ça ne goûte pas ça une sauce BBQ).
Bref, ça ne va pas m’empêcher de faire un autre visite pour quelque chose d’autre, il y a de l’amour dans la préparation, mais j’opterais pour autre chose.
