Wow! What an experience! While wandering around Montreal's Chinatown, we stumbled upon Sumo Ramen. Located on the second floor, it's a spot we might have normally skipped, especially since we had just eaten. However, something drew us in, & I knew we had to return. We planned our next day with Sumo Ramen in mind, & it did not disappoint. The food was exceptional-bursting with flavor & made with high-quality ingredients. The service was equally impressive; the staff were attentive & polite. Plus, the prices are very affordable, especially considering the quantity & quality of the food. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!
J'adore ce restaurant je ne comprend absolument pas les mauvais commentaire, je part des Laurentides exprès pour y manger depuis plusieurs années! J'y amenne souvent ma grande & elle ADORE. C'est de la cuisine authentique tout est absolument délicieux l'okonomiyaki est absolument délicieux, les gyozas aussi, les nouilles sont parfaitement préparées dans les ramens il y a une quantité phénoménale de choix de nouilles, bouillon & viande je recommande fortement si vous désirez voyager sans vous déplacez 🫶🏼💜🔥
I loved the food; it's been a while since we dropped by, & I recommend trying this place. I ordered the leek/pork ramen with takoyaki, & my friend ordered the mackerel & the sumo ramen. We also had mochi ice cream for dessert. Service was great, & the atmosphere was cozy!
Le Sumon Ramen est un restaurant parfait pour nos envies de la cuisine japonaise. Je vous recommande fortement de goûter Leur crêpe japonaise Okonomiyaki , ainsi que leurs ramen. Le restaurant se trouve proche de la station Place des armes si vous souhaitez prendre le transport en commun. Il y a également des stationnements payant & stationnement de rue.
J'ai pris les ramen au kimchi, c'était vraiment très bon ! Attention à ceux qui n'aiment pas épicé, ça l'est à cause du kimchi. Très bons ramens, service rapide. C'était une très bonne expérience & je recommande !

Les ramens étaient super bons! Bon éventail de choix de ramens végétariens avec bouillon végé aussi! Le service était très courtois & assez rapide malgré la quantité de monde dans le resto. Tables un peu proches, mais ça fait partie de l'ambiance. Je recommande pour un bon ramen dans le quartier chinois.
Ramen tastes absolutely delicious. The volcano ramen & Sumo ramen are highly recommended. Soup is bold & faty. I wish the ramen noodle would be thicker. Good customer service. The location is on 2nd floor of building, quite hidden from the street. If the cashier counter would decorate better it will be impressed. Overall, nice to try once
Je suis aller au Sumo Ramen seul, je trouve que c’est un restaurant parfait pour aller dîner en solo.
Ca fait du bien de manger autre chose que des dumplings dans le quartier chinois.
Service rapide & efficace, ambiance conviviale.
J’ai pris le Ramen au Kimchi, il était très bon mais le bouillon manquait un peu de piquant & de “oumf”. Le poulet Karaage est excellent.
Je recommande de prendre plein de petite entrées car elles ne sont pas trop dispendieuses & elles ont tous l’air délicieuses.
Très bon restaurant ramen a Chinatown!

Tellement bonnnn!!!! 🤤🤤🤤 C'est la deuxième fois que j'y vais & c'est absolument délicieux!! J'ai pris le Sumo ramen avec quelques extras, on peut choisir les sortes de nouilles & le bouillon. J'ai aussi pris des Gyozas au porc, un incontournable!! Avec du bon Saké chaud, & un Bubble tea, c'étais parfait !! Le service était parfait, super ambiance chaleureuse. Je recommande à 100%!!
If you're looking to try a ramen spot in Montreal, you cannot go wrong with this place. The portions are very generous & everything is so flavorful (i strongly recommend their kimchi & tonkotsu broth). Their service is also top notch ! Our waiter Johnson was amazing & made our experience very pleasant. We're looking forward to our next visit !
C'était EXCELLENT ! Je recommande fortement ce restaurant, tout était délicieux ! Je n'ai jamais mangé aussi bon de toute ma vie, c'était simplement parfait ! À chaque bouchée j'avais l'impression de découvrir ce qu'il y avait au-delà du paradis. C'était la première fois que je goutais la cuisine japonaise & je m'avoue pas déçue du tout ! J'y retournerais n'importe quand !
