I honestly make reviews on google rarely. But this place forced myself to make one. I just wanna say that the old guy who works there (i forgot his name) He was the sweetest soul. I came with my best-friend & honestly it was the best ramen i've had in Montreal!!! Such nice customer service, food is also perfect if ur worried about the broth being made with meat. You can choose ur broth to be vegetarian. I took miso soup with panko shrimp. It was like so freaking yummy!!! I think this restaurant deserves the hype a lot. Thank you soo much for the service. It was not even uncomfortable it was very nice & pleasant.

Le service & la nourriture sont excellents. Belle ambiance. Mon conjoint & moi avons voyagé plusieurs fois au Japon & il y a seulement deux restaurants à Montréal dont les mets goûtent vraiment typiques, dont le sumo ramen 😍.
The food was good but nothing more. All the plates were small & a bit cold, which made me doubt if it was fresh. The ramen had more noodles than broth & also not so hot. The decor is nice.

Had the Sumo ramen & my partner had the beef ramen. It was delicious! The owner was hospitable, spent time with us, friendly & welcoming. We just stopped in on a whim & it was a delicious meal that warmed us both up on a rainy day vacationing in Montreal 🫶🏽
This is a great restaurant, it was fast & very affordable. The Ramen is top tier & it was complemented by the great service I received. I'll be back to try other dishes because it all looked delicious.
The miso broth was incredible, the food came out super fast & the waiter was very kind & welcoming. Would come back any day it is hard to find ramen so good in this city. Was so chill & waiter was so nice it felt like eating at someone's home.
As a first time visitor in Montreal, food tast good, but doesn't feel like traditional Japanese Ramen. We are not that hungry so only ordered 2 ramen & 1 udon for 3 of us. This is more fusion of Japanese & Chinese. When we visited, there're only 2 staffs at the front, but they tried very best to serves us, no complain on that.
The ramen here was simply exceptional-a rich, flavorful broth complemented by perfectly cooked noodles & fresh toppings. Every bite was a blend of savory & umami flavors, & the warm, inviting presentation added to the overall dining experience. The friendly & attentive staff made it even better. If you're craving top-notch ramen, this is the place to go!
Stopped in for ramen during our stay in Montreal (my favourite)! Sumo Ramen blew me away. I had a vegetable ramen with miso broth & my fiancé had the spicy beef stew ramen & we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was super kind & let us in last minute for a bite to eat. I10/10 would recommend eating here. Gonna have to convince my fiancé to come back tomorrow!!!
