Stem Bar has a beautiful ambiance, great decor, & a really nice vibe. The cocktails & wine list were solid. I love September Cafe, so I was really hoping to love Stem Bar just as much. Unfortunately, the food was extremely salty across the board, which made the meal hard to enjoy. It's unfortunate because I had high expectations, but based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend it.
Très bonne carte d'alcool & les plats sont raffinés. Par contre, la limite de temps imposée aux tables & se faire demander de partir alors que nous étions en train de consommer, très mauvais, alors que le service avait été correct jusque là. Dans un établissement qui se veut haut de gamme, c'est pas acceptable. Dommage, c'est un bel endroit, mais ça a complètement gâché l'expérience.
Rude staff, slow service. My group was seated & took around 20 mins to have our waiter come see us. The food was cold & staff was rude, almost like they didn't want us there. Not to mention the washroom was filthy. Won't be going back!
Nous avons mangé ici pour le Nouvel An. Le service était excellent & l'ambiance conviviale. La nourriture était délicieuse, parcontre, nous étions très déçus de voir que malgré le fait d'avoir payé 85.00$ par personne, (avant taxes & pourboires, bien sûr) plusieurs des plats étaient à partager. Étant donné la taille des portions (un petit morceau de patates pavés & 3 languettes de saumon, un arancino chaque ou une soucoupe de polenta) c'était surprenant de devoir les partager en 2. Nous avions même partagés une assiette de salade! Il me semble que lors de la prise des réservations, l'employé aurait pu (dû) mentionner qu'on allait partager les plats. Pour l'an prochain, j'espère que les portions seront plus grandes ou que le prix par personne soit ajusté afin de refléter la quantité de plats à partager.
Fabuleux ✨ une des meilleures adresses où il m'a été donné de souper (& pas juste au Québec). Outre le service qui était impeccable, les plats & cocktails étaient délicieusement exécutés. Nous avons passé un excellent moment au Stem Bar. Merci pour tout ! Une adresse exceptionnelle à ne pas manquer si vous êtes à Montréal. Ps : il est recommandé de réserver si vous souhaitez être installé à une table sinon vous serez au comptoir ce qui a été notre cas mais ça nous a parfaitement convenu.
Looove this place. However we waited long to get our table & the place was super crowded & loud, hard to talk to each other. We had the burrata pancakes, the brussel sprouts & the lamb pasta, everything was delicious. The margaritas were great too! Overall good experience.
Amazing spot! Chris & the team crushed it with great cocktails & food & even gave us a list of ~15 restaurants to check out while we're here for the week. Super awesome vibe & great bartenders!
The place is perfect for a night dinner with friends, good selection of wine & the food is exquisite, the croquettes, the burrata with hot cakes, the flank pork special was so good & the Brussels sprouts amazing !!! Don't skip dessert it's so good the peach one
