Final Thoughts:
A great meal & a restaurant I'd happily recommend. The tomato salad with homemade croutons was the standout dish & is worth ordering. We were too full to try dessert, but that's at the top of our list for next time. I'd definitely return the next time I'm in Montreal.

Hire more people. Your staff is rude probably because they stressed & irritated. Also this place is the perfect example for do not tip out of societal pressure. Takes 40 mins to get a waiter & u get up & do everything by myself what non sense. Maybe it will change if I leave no tip.

The burrata pancakes were very good so was there amaretto sour but the strawberry short cake tasted like salty sand with cheap whipped cream on top & for such small portions prices aren't great!

First time trying Stem bar - I thought the standout was the halibut crudo - perfectly balanced, bright & refreshing - the perfect summer app. I also loved the green goddess salad. The deep fried brussle sprouts were delicious but far too greasy. The cavatelli was good but not great - the lamb was completely shredded & mushy instead of being a true ragu with texture. It made the dish feel mush heavier. We enjoyed the steak which was cooked well & very flavourful. Unfortunately, the desserts were very mediocre - the cheesecake with salted caramel looks like a Basque cheesecake with the burnt top but it's not a Basque cheesecake at all - the texture isn't creamy & smooth like it should be - it just felt like a seriously overcooked cheesecake with a very gritty texture & it didn't help that it was served room temp/warm. The rhubarb parfait was very runny & the strawberry shortcake was dry.

My favourite restaurant/bar in Montreal. I've been there so many times & the food has never disappointed. I've tried a lot of dishes on the menu & I've genuinely loved every single one. The pancake burrata truffle is hands down my favourite & a must order. This is the one place I recommend every single time someone asks me for restaurant recommendations in Montreal. & the service is impeccable!

Only had drinks with friends, waited close to an hour to be seated outside - but while we were waiting they forgot to come over to take drink orders when people joined our group & then they forgot about one person's drink (it came like 20mins after everyone else's). Very disappointing especially given the prices.
