Votre restaurant est une tradition pour ma conjointe & moi, nous venons chaque années fêter notre anniversaire. Nous avons adoré notre soirée à l'exception d'un truc hors de votre contrôle, deux hommes visiblement éméché par vin qui tenait des propos ordurier sur le prix des escortes. Ils parlaient très fort & cherchait clairement du regard à voir la réactions des gens autour.

The food is quite delicious, the price is acceptable, but I find the service quite slow & not really welcoming like other restaurants in the same style & type of food in Old Port, in addition to the attitude of the waitress when we checkout was surprised me, I only gave 15% tip because the service is just so so, then she took the money & didn't even say "thank you " or say basic things like "have a good night", she immediately turned away with a very unfriendly face, I wonder if it's because I tipped less than she expected or it was me not white person?

Nous sommes retournés chez Steak Frites après plusieurs années & malheureusement l'expérience n'a pas été super. Nous avons eu un service impeccable vraiment mais payer 150$ pour 2 & s'assoir sur des chaises de métal inconfortable nous avons trouvé ça moyen!! De plus, le filet mignon de mon conjoint était médium seulement au tout milieu du centre & trop cuit à l'extérieur. Nous ne retournons plus les assiettes car les autres convives mangent pendant que l'on attend le retour de notre plat. & pour terminer les profiteroles sauce chocolat auraient été meilleurs avec une vrai sauce chocolat plutôt qu'une sauce avec du faux chocolat (la même que chez Giorgio avec leur gâteau roulé). Alors un souper pour notre 41 e anniversaire de mariage décevant au restaurant!! Merci!

Les chaises sont vraiment peu confortables (aucun rembourrage), on se croirait dans un bouiboui. Pour le reste, tout est parfait, la nourriture est excellente, tout comme le service.
La bavette n'était pas mangeable, on nous a offert comme compensation d'enlever le prix de l'entrée qui n'est pas au même coût que la viande &

A great place for office get togethers. Online reservation was easy, & I was even able to change the number of people (through text) the day before without issue.

Service was attentive & professional. Food arrived at the proper pace & was nicely prepared. The steaks were well-trimmed & the frites were excellent. Overall, this was an excellent restaurant experience.
Agréablement surprise par un service rapide pour le dîner & nous étions 9.. nous n'avons pas pris café ni dessert, mais tout le monde servi au même moment... un bel endroit & qui a répondu au goût de tout (carnivore ou pas)
We really enjoyed our experience & time at Steak-Frites. We were from the US & not aware that we could bring a bottle of wine with us to the restaurant. I think that is a great concept & the next time we're in Montreal, we will definitely bring a bottle on our next visit.
