Great location but parking is a hassle. Steak was good (ribeye recommended) with unlimited fries but we had to ask multiple times & only got small portions. Not as generous as other locations in EU's l'entrecote.
Service was professional & efficient, though not very kid friendly.

I surprised my husband with a dinner for Valentines' Day here this year. He had no idea where we were going, On the day I just told him the address to drive to &'surprise'. We went to the St Antoine location.
Neither of us had ever been to SteakFrites before, but I thought he'd like it, as we love steak for celebrations & he always always orders fries with this steak.
This restaurant very quickly became one of my very favourites. On every level, there was just nothing I could have asked for to make it a better experience.
It was a busy night from the start & every table was full, being it was a Saturday & Valentines' Day as well. The service was wonderful all the way through, from the waitress immediately bringing us an ice bucket with ice & opening our drink for us. The food came quicker than expected given how full the restaurant was. & they do offer to refill your fries during the meal, & they did come to offer us that at just the right time.
We LOVED the food. We shared a Chateaubriand for two & it was amazing. I love Chateaubriand & not that many places serve it. My husband pronounced the food was excellent. Even the 3 sauces that came with it tasted amazing. The green beans & mushrooms were so buttery. The beef was so tender.
The coffee & apple pie with ice cream were also very very good. with a drizzle to caramel on the pie.
The lighting was just perfect. Just so relaxing. We just really really had a wonderful time I am already planning when we can should back.
The food here is incredible!! Everything was cooked perfectly & tasted amazing. Menu is small which means they really focus on there items. Staff is friendly & the atmosphere is soft & appealing.
Ribeye steak was disappointing.
The cut was uneven & as result the cooking was uneven & burned in some areas. Meat was veinny all over & mostly unchewable. Green beans & fries were nicely done.
The service was average, but food was just not good. My steak which I ordered medium was well done on the whole left side & medium rare on the right with about a 1cm sliver of medium in the middle. The fries were fine but nothing to write home about & the green beans were not seasoned well at all. Took the risk of ordering dessert after all that only to get a pie that was burnt on the bottom & cold in the middle. Very disappointed in this experience overall.

Got the steak & fries with mushroom sauce & the apple pie 🥧 It's a bring your own wine so feel free to bring your bottles. Good & courteous service. Thanks again!
For a place that is named'steak frites' I would expect them to have great steak & fries. I had to send back my first steak because I couldn't cut through it, even when I asked for a different knife because I thought the first was dull. The second steak they brought my was blue & raw in the middle despite asking for medium rare. The server & hostess were lovely & apologized & gave me 25% off my meal. It took me almost an hour to just get one good steak. Wouldn't recommend because attention to detail is lacking.
They served us moldy bread. The cut of the steak wasn't specified & it ended up being too chewy & not cooked as asked (medium rare). For 38$ you'd expect a better quality. The only decent things were the fries.
The food was great, they had several options that are gluten free :) Very aware of celiac & they have a dedicated fryer for fries! The only hiccup is that chairs are not thiccc bottom friendly (livable but not comfortable)

We reserved our seats for 3 for dinner on a Saturday & were impressed with the swiftness we were looked after. We were reminded that it was a BYOB, which was a very nice touch. I got a msg on my phone, seconds after that our table was reserved.
While we brought our own bottle, the waitress opened our bottle & we poured our own wine from start to finish.
Atmosphere was casual, somewhat loud but not unpleasant.
Service was fast with our waitress being OK. Just the very bare minimum.
Appetizers were snail with garlic/cheese & a deep fried goat cheese were excellent.
New York streak & bavette de boeuf served medium rare were tender but a tad too cooked.
Overall, a good restaurant to go to from time to time, with BYOB.
French onion soup is great. Caesar salad is basic. The OG steak frites were as described: not the most tender cut, but very beefy. For $38 it was fine. Like other reviewers note, we were surprised there is no alcohol available unless you bring your own. My bad, not theirs. Service was fast, attentive & professional. No language barriers as everyone we spoke to was bilingual & friendly.
nice food, the steak & fries were excellent. the place is ok could be nicer & the chair were not comfortable. we had to ask each time for a refill of fries since they are unlimited never been asked..
Dissapointed with my visit. We were a group & went for lunch. The food was good. Service was uneven (forgot my fries, mixed plates). Bread wasn't brought in, had to ask for it. The lunch menu wasn't given to us… had to ask. The guy at front had it in photocopy & was hesitant to give. They gave us all the regular menu, making it feel they wanted us to order the supper menu to get more $$.
We had been there in the past. We found to quality of the steak to be improved over years past. We like the cauliflower bite appetizers, the new york strip & fries were delicious. All steaks were cooked to the correct degree of doneness. Its really nice to be able to bring our own bottle of wine to the meal as well.
