This place is something we didn't expect - you can bring your own alcohol & there's no cork fees. Since we were not aware of it, water was the only fluid we were enjoying. As for the food - simply amazing. Tuna & steak were so tasty, we want to double our order.... We would recommend this place 100%, & remember - bring your own wine...

Il y avait plusieurs années que je n'étais pas aller & j'en ressort très décue. La qualité en générale a de beaucoup diminuée. Une salade sans vinaigrette...un tartare classique avec beaucoup trop de câpres qui intensifie l'aspect vinaigré & pour couronner le temps une charge pour le pain d'accompagnement!
Point #1 THEY DON'T SERVE ALCOHOL SO BRING YOUR OWN!!! Really decent dinner the steak may be under done for your taste I had the steak Frites & that cut off meat needs to be cooked a little more than medium-rare I think. I got the poutine upgrade & expected the steak to be front & center on top of the poutine but they were served separately. It was a business trip dinner so kind of like eating alone as everybody is busy reading email from the day 🤪. But the atmosphere was very bland. Over all of I'm staying in this part of the city again I'll likely try one of the other steak restaurants first better going back.

Delicious food,great service,veru friendly staff. The octopus was to die for, the tartare, the calamari were really good too. The steaks were cook to perfection, reallly good

Delicious steak but lacks consistency. My wife & I ordered the same piece & same cooking but received two different steaks at different cooking stages. My wife's piece was way thicker than mine & was a tad undercooked. Otherwise a very good dish. Decent size. Bring your wine & no bread on the table while waiting, you have to ask & pay for it. Outstanding service, nice staff & very friendly. We had a very nice evening. Was first time there, will go again.
Fantastic place to eat. Warm & inviting atmosphere with perfect background music. Not always the way in a lot of restaurants these days. The service was orofessinal, friendly, & impeccable. My friend & i ordered soup & casaer salads, as well as steak & fries. The steak was cooked to perfection. Incredibly tender. We ended our dinner with a profiterole, which we shared. It was quite a bit larger than I expected, so sharing it was perfect as it was the sweet we desired after a perfect meal. Highly recommended.
First of all, taste & quality of food was great for our complete party. I ordered a filet steak & due to "medium-well" cooked they said they needed to do a butterfly cut. Again, taste was good but it looked like something overrun on the street, absolutely nothing for the eye & there was no pink inside, fully cooked. If your chef can't do a filet without cutting in half he should learn because others can & leave the filet intact.
Le service impecable par contre le steak & se qui vien dans l'assiette c'est un peux petit & le prix & elever j'ai été déçu le steak étai petit pour le prix le bomb au chocolat étai excellent
Chez Steak Frites, nous ne sommes jamais déçus. La bouffe est bonne & chaude. Le service est impeccable. "apportez votre vin" la facture est donc très raisonnable.
