Cute place with live piano. Attentive service. Great food. If you want to sample a variety of Polish dishes, debutant is a good choice. Sznycel wiedenski & sznycel mielony are both good. Also their beer tastes great. The apple cobbler is a little milder than I expected but still tasty.Voir plus

This is our favourite restaurant in Old Montreal, we simply always have to go whenever we visit. The 3 course menu is always our go-to. The atmosphere alone could make this restaurant a must-see but the authentic food & hospitality is what keeps us coming back.Voir plus

Just happened upon this restaurant with my wife & two good friends. We had a very traditional Polish meal & everything was fantastic. The Apple cobbler is the best I've ever had. The staff were super friendly & the price is reasonable. I'm sorry I don't live here because I would eat in this restaurant all the time.Voir plus

Visited a couple of days ago. There were two of us, & I asked to sit at a four-person table in an almost empty restaurant. They refused, stating that larger tables were only for bigger groups. However, as we were leaving, I noticed three other couples seated at the very tables I had requested, even though the restaurant was still half-empty.

What a surprise this spot was! We had never eaten Polish food before & boy have we been missing out. The food was great! Our server was super nice & helped us get the best food for our first time. We left stuffed & happy. Loved the cabbage & mushroom pierogis plus the potato pancakes along with the barszcz (beet soup) make sure to add the mushroom dumplings. The sauerkraut is warm & so so delicious. The piano player is phenomenal & plays covers of popular songs. The ambiance is kitschy & cozy. Make reservations or go early because this place is popular. Went here for Valentine's day with the fiancée, food was absolutely delicious, ambiance with the dimmed lights, suspended paintings, very nice. The pianist at the entrance was super chill & welcomed us warmly. The whole experience was awesome. When do you go out to a polish restaurant?? Definitely worth our time. I have been coming here for years & it never disappoints
I had the herring to start & it was perfect not too tangy with sour cream to boot
My main course was the weinerschnitzel & omg it was so huge did not think I could finish it .Thank g-d I skipped lunch
The Polish beer Zwiec went well wilth the meal
The place was hopping & full yet they could place for walk ins
The piano player added a nice background
