The place had an authentic European feel. It was my first experience with Polish dining & it was memorable! The perogies, potato pancakes, pickled herring & croquettes (three course meal) were excellent. The apple cobbler & sweet cream were a pleasant surprise. The accordion dinner accompaniment was enjoyable, adding to the atmosphere.
Service was reasonably quick considering how packed the place was. Washrooms were clean. I would return to this charming welcoming establishment.Voir plus
Such a lovely dining experience with authentic Polish cuisine! My hubby & I walked in w/o a reservation on a Saturday evening in March at 8:30pm. Despite still being full, we were seated right away at a cozy window table. Upon walking in, you are greeted with wonderful live music from a very talented piano player right at the entrance. The restaurant is warm & cozy with a red light district vibe with the red lampshades on all the lights. Lovely beamed ceilings & church pew bench seats with a long bar on the side. Our waitress was great, professional, & courteous. We ordered perogies, schnitzel, among other Polish dishes, & yummy cocktails. We thoroughly enjoyed each dish & the entire evening. We loved the perogies so much that instead of ordering dessert, we ordered another 8 mushroom perogies to go! I HIGHLY recommend for some authentic Polish cuisine!Voir plus
Food & drinks are absolutely amazing. Real authentic polish food! Will be back.Voir plus
This is our favourite restaurant in Old Montreal, we simply always have to go whenever we visit. The 3 course menu is always our go-to. The atmosphere alone could make this restaurant a must-see but the authentic food & hospitality is what keeps us coming back.Voir plus
Great food, service & ambiance - Piano player was not too loud. Call ahead & make a reservation, just in case it is busy! Food was Very authentic, I should know my parents are Polish!!Voir plus
We were so impressed with Stash Café. Not only is the ambiance warm & charming but the food is extremely authentic to polish cuisine & every dish felt so comforting. I never had the chance to discover polish cuisine in its essence like I did here. It's really something special. Get the taster plate that offers a variety of different foods to try like we did, you won't regret!Voir plus

Cozy. Time stands still here. Live piano music & friendly staff. It's good to have a reservation for dinner as there is a continuous line at the door. Food is the most authentic Polish cuisine I've had besides at home. A must while in Montréal!Voir plus

This is the best restaurant I've been to in Montreal. I have gone twice now & will be coming back again. The food is authentic, good portions, & good prices. The atmosphere is also great especially with the live piano player. Service is on point, but honestly, I'm here for the culinary & atmospheric knockout, & this place delivers a TKO every time.Voir plus

I teared up in here last night because I haven't had such authentic & delicious Polish food since I was a teenager. The servers are family & shared with us, the atmosphere was just perfect. It was full, the piano was playing, but we could still hear one another & even made friends at the next table. It was the perfect end to a wonderful day & I'll never forget this place!Voir plus
Wow wow wow. As someone from Kraków who cooks a lot of polish meals at home, I can definitely say this restaurant is extremely authentic. We were blown away by the quality & spot on authenticity of it. We ordered the zupa ogórkowa (pickle soup), barszcz (beet soup), krokiety (mushroom croquettes), pierogi ruskie (potato pierogis) & the szarlotka (Apple crumble pie). While everything was delicious & traditionally presented, the pierogi & szarlotka were our favorites. The pierogis were plump with great potato quality & not heavy on dough. You can def tell they were handmade. Every bite the potatoes melted in your mouth & you can taste the butter & onions. So good! Now the szarlotka. We never order dessert but based on how authentic everything else was, I could not resist trying this traditional apple dessert. Let me tell you, not only did it not disappoint but very much exceeded our expectations. It was served perfectly chilled, & you can taste both the sweet & tartness of the apple. & the fresh cream on top was so insanely delicious. We practically licked the plate. & don't skip on the cocktails! We also had the szarlotka cocktail which was served with Zubrowka vodka (our fave), apple juice & a splash of lemon. Served with a little bit of cinnamon & sugar on the rim. Wow oh wow. Refreshing & complex, what an amazing cocktail. Will def be trying to recreate at home but if not, just another excuse to visit this restaurant. Definitely don't skip this spot. If you want to try authentic polish food, this is the place! Enjoy it with the live piano player who is there most week night. Na zdrowie!Voir plus

Great place. Our roots are polish. We absolutely loved that we were able to talk in polish with the server. Dishes are authentic & definitely tasted like from my childhood. Thank you for the amazing experience, Stash!Voir plus
The food is very authentic & good. Pierogis are excellent, would prefer the kielbasa was a whole sausage & not pre-sliced, but it was still amazing. The ambiance is next level good. Don't miss this spot.Voir plus
