During a recent visit to Montreal, my wife & I stopped by the Starbucks at 1301 St. Catherine St E for the first time. We both ordered Chai Lattes, & thankfully, our orders were accurate. I was especially pleased with how balanced my drink was-it had just the right amount of sweetness & spice without tasting like pure sugar, which I often find to be the case at other locations. The service, while generally friendly, had a small hiccup: the barista got our names wrong despite our repeated attempts to clarify. Still, I appreciated that Starbucks has brought back the practice of writing customers' names on cups-it's a thoughtful gesture that makes the experience feel a bit more personal. The ambiance of this location was cozy & inviting. The seating area felt comfortable, with plenty of space to relax or work, & the gentle background music added to the overall vibe. The staff was efficient, keeping the line moving despite a busy afternoon. Overall, it was a solid first-time experience at this Starbucks location. The service had its flaws, but the warm, welcoming atmosphere & well-prepared drinks made up for it. We would definitely stop by this location again.View more

The barista was chill, whipped it up real quick, & even threw in some extra foam without me asking. Plus, the vibe in there was cozy af. Definitely gonna be back for more caffeine fixes & good vibesView more
