Au cours de sa tournée nord-américaine, la Superstar grecque Mihalis Hatzigiannis a découvert Melina Mammas, une jeune chanteuse grecque canadienne, fille de Lawrence Mammas, et a été invitée à dîner à La Belle & La Boeuf où il a été tellement impressionné par le groupe qu’il a proposé un partenariat pour apporter une cuisine authentique grecque Souvlaki, avec un concept Foodtastic à Montréal. Voilà que Souvlaki Bar est né, ouvrant notre premier magasin le 12 septembre 2014. Plus de 5000 personnes ont assisté à la grande fête d’ouverture où Mihalis et Melina ont joué à l’extérieur devant plusieurs fans heureux. Souvlaki Bar est souvent salué comme une adresse grecque conviviale, où le service est chaleureux, attentif et efficace et où l ambiance plaît aux clients. Hey. My name is Parsa & me & may family came from Montreal to visit multiple shops here. We was really hungry & we decided to go into this restaurant. When we arrived at this restaurant, a guy named William (which he's a waiter) welcomed us & introduced us to this restaurant. Me & my family decided to order two plates of Greek salad with rice, fries & souvlaki pitas. We also ordered a pizza-poutine combo from pizza restaurant & two cappuccino. All of what we ordered was really delicious & i recommand people to eat here.
I was kinda shocked when i realise there are two separate restaurants & one coffee shop was in one place & it was really interesting & cool. We even had small candles that looked really cool.
The waiters were really nice. William & Sarina were really friendly & I became friends with them.
The prices was really good compare to what i ordered & yeah, I recommand this restaurant to everyone who's really hungry because of: A lot of multiple choices of food, good price, really good quality, nice waiters & people there, good atmosphere & many more things
Our waitress was so warm, welcoming, & professional- She even informed me that the Greek potatoes were cooked in chicken broth & since I have been a vegetarian since 1978, I appreciated knowing that! She was great!
Food was very tasty. I enjoyed my vegetarian souvlaki (the pita was warm) 😊, & my honey raved about his souvlaki plate.
The Restaurant is large, decorated in the typical blue & white, & the windows let in a lot of light. There are three restaurants under the same roof.
They even put a pair of scissors with the ketchup packages. How thoughtful is that?

If you're visiting Quebec from Toronto, definitely try this place! It's one of the best spots for Greek food-great value for money, tasty dishes, & wonderful staff!
We ordered take out the other night & I gotta say, it was DELICIOUS. Even though we couldn't dine-in (due to COVID for future readers 🙂) , the place looked beautiful. I have to give credit where credit is due - opening a restaurant during this period, I'm sure was not an easy feat. I had the Massacre Zeus: Greek poutine essentially with chicken gyro. Holy Moses. A dream. Husband has porc gyro pita plate - also delicious. Happy you guys are open! 🙂 Edit: ever since they changed owners a couple of years ago, the quality is just not the same. Don't go there anymore unfortunately.
The chicken gyro bol was amazing as usual. Also took a mock mojito & was so refreshing & tasty. Great service, great atmosphere 💯! Would have appreciated some Greek music!
Service was good, but the food was nowhere near to what we would get if we were dining in an authentic Greek restaurant. The calamari were overcooked & very chewy. Chicken was good. Rice, potatoes were okay.

The food was AMAZING! I love the atmosphere, with Greek music playing & the Greek landscape videos playing. The staff were very kind & attentive. The owner even came out to ask how we were & when we said we were fine, he came back with napkins! He knew better than us what we needed ... GREAT TIME
Out of all the other souvlaki bar locations I have attended many times (laval + ville st Laurent) this was our first visit to this location. The atmosphere was the best one of all locations so far!!!
That's about it. Service was good.
The food...nope...can't even be called greek food. Taste was not Greek in any way. I won't get into details.. but I am Greek, the souvlaki & the meat patty were not in any way good. We had the meat shovel meal for 4..that was not even in a meat shovel to begin with & was messed all up from the overflowing tzatzkki of the center of the plate all over the foods.
An hour & half later...all of us were chasing to catch the toilets at home.
Sad to say .. I won't be visiting that location again, will be going next door to the golden arches to eat!

Nice atmosphere but that’s about it.
Food was terrible. I’m Greek & that’s not Greek food. . Zero taste. They need to get a Greek cook that knows what he is doing.
