Reviews of Souvlaki Bar paint a generally positive picture, with friendly, attentive service and generous, well-prepared dishes. Diners praise quick takeout service, a warm atmosphere, and good value for money, as well as a wide range of Greek favorites like souvlaki, gyros, fresh salads, and warm pita. The experience is frequently described as welcoming for families and kids, with staff who are accommodating and professional, and portions that are often plentiful. Some reviewers note exceptional service and a homey feel created by engaged owners or long-time staff. However, there is location-to-location variability: several customers report consistently solid quality and generous portions, while at least one location is described unfavorably, with smaller portions, overly salty rice, dry pita, and reduced sauces. Overall, Souvlaki Bar is viewed as a good option for flavorful Greek food, solid service, and reasonable prices, with most visits ending on a positive note and many returning.
We ordered take out the other night & I gotta say, it was DELICIOUS. Even though we couldn't dine-in (due to COVID for future readers 🙂) , the place looked beautiful. I have to give credit where credit is due - opening a restaurant during this period, I'm sure was not an easy feat. I had the Massacre Zeus: Greek poutine essentially with chicken gyro. Holy Moses. A dream. Husband has porc gyro pita plate - also delicious. Happy you guys are open! 🙂 Edit: ever since they changed owners a couple of years ago, the quality is just not the same. Don't go there anymore unfortunately.

I went to have chicken & I said I did not want any potatoes & fries & rice because that's what it came with I just said I would like to have something healthier so the gentleman said well I can remove that & just put salad. But I was charged an extra $5 for the salad but I was not deducted for the rice & potatoes that were there so instead of paying $30 for a small little skimpy brush fillet I paid $40 for a little filet with a little bit of salad. When I ask my waiter why did he charged me extra for the salad when he removed the other food he says well that's how it is
The chicken gyro bol was amazing as usual. Also took a mock mojito & was so refreshing & tasty. Great service, great atmosphere 💯! Would have appreciated some Greek music!
