Driving to Montreal from Ottawa & my daughter suggested we stop here for lunch. It is well worth the small detour, & you can gas up too, right next door. The looks inconspicuous from the outside. But inside decor is beautifully done, place is clean & comfortable. My daughter had chicken gyro pita & I had pork kebab pita. We shared small Greek potatoes. It was all amazing & could tell was fresh, not a reheat. Tzaziki sauce on point. First time here, will definitely be stopping in again on my OttMtl commutes to try other dishes.

Had a 75th birthday party last night at Souvlaki Authentique. We were so well taken care of with entrées of delicious calamari & pikilia platters, excellent main meals, & a special dessert platter that everyone absolutely adored. The service was excellent, with friendly & competent staff,
& everyone left smiling!!! Top notch Greek dishes from chicken souvlaki, to lamb chops, we left with happy memories. Don't forget to stop by their gift shelf for Greek oregano, honey, chamomile or other goodies!!!

We go there on a regular basis but today the food was not very good chicken was way over cooked my wife's food was terrible fries reheated & very hard it was a disappointing experience i was very surprised
As always, a great experience. A must stop when travelling through Hudson. 100%worth the detour home. Perfectly marinated chicken & the best creamy tzatziki. The pitas are so soft & fresh. Always fresh ingredients.Excellent service super clean. Definitely go!

We did take out this afternoon ,a plate of lamb & chicken . The food was great except for the Greek salad, which was loaded with huge chunks of tomatoes
First visit here, & it didn't disappoint! The gyro was perfectly crispy & tasty, & the chicken brochettes were tender & juicy. The Greek potatoes, suggested by our waitress, were spot on. The baklava cheesecake was rich yet surprisingly light. Fresh ingredients, big portions, & fast, friendly service-definitely worth a visit!
Very delicious food, their Greek potatoes are out of this world! Chicken brochette, rice, Greek salad are something I want to try again. Quite big piece of chocolate cake for its price was soooo good! One drawback: they forgot to put utensils & tissue to my take away order, but I had it all at home. Overall, I would recommend this place & definitely come visit again
We just finished our meal & it was the BEST Greek food I have ever eaten. The portions were huge, the food was fresh, the chicken was so tender! I would make this a must stop on my way through Quebec anytime. Not only was the food incredible, the service topped off our night. Anna was very attentive & Paul the owner made sure he went to every table & checked in. We said we didn't have room for dessert but he showed up to the table with the best chocolate cake ever. We managed to find room for it! We will definitely be back!

From the moment I entered, the warmth & attention from the staff were palpable, transforming what I anticipated to be a standard meal into a familial & inviting experience. The prices, though on the higher side, were entirely justified by the quality of the food & service. Opting to eat at home usually due to mediocre services elsewhere, I found myself pleasantly surprised & drawn into the inviting ambiance of Souvlaki Authentique. The food itself was nothing short of revelatory. The chicken was tender & flavorful, a stark departure from the dry poultry I've begrudgingly accepted at other establishments. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, enhancing the overall dining experience. Adding to the charm was the owner, Mr. Paul, who personally visited each table. Best pita souvlaki by most standards - moist chicken, fresh pita, lots of tzatziki - & authentic Greek potatoes. Excellent price & service for dining in. Lovely decor for the location. Clean & spacious washrooms. Right off the highway & no better pit stop on the road to Ottawa.
