We went for the morning coffee. There is not much choices on their pastries. But the service & overall vibe is amazing. Of course nothing beats the unobstructed view of the city!

Only tried their espresso, so can't say much about their food. However the breath-taking view & the vibe make the place a must if you come to visit Montreal or if you're just looking for a chill spot to study/work.
Yes it has a nice view but it's too high brow for me. Everyone there looks like they have rich parents, & all the good seats were taken by instababes alternating between looking at their phone & their laptop.
Did they know I'm an impostor? My H&M sweater probably gave it away.
Even the baristas look like they make 100k a year just with their tips.
While I was waiting in line, the guy in front of me was telling his friend how he's now 200k in debt, yet he still tipped 20% at the counter!!! How do you do that??
La vue est superbe, mais soyez avisé qu'en journée vous ne pourrez peut-être même pas prendre de café sur place car les sièges sont souvent occupés pendant des heures par des personnes avec leur ordinateur. C'est une plaie, ça ne devrait pas être permis dans ce genre d'endroit!
J'ai tout aimé de mon expérience au sora45. Moi & mon copain avons commandé plusieurs des items sur le menu & c'était excellent. Le service était incroyable & nous avons bien été conseillé sur nos drinks & même certain était customized selon nos goût. La vue est incroyable pour le sunset & la musique est très bonne.
Arrivé trop tard nous avons pris des cafés à emporter. Très bon café, accueil chaleureux mais un peu difficile à trouver.
J'y reviendrai plus tôt pour profiter de mon café sur place
Overall it was an amazing experience. We ordered four dishes to share. They were all surprisingly good! I ordered the pornstar Martini to drink. It came with a glass of champagne. The bartender suggested to have one sip of the martini, one sip of the champagne. Very interesting drinking experience! We came at sunset. If you sit by the bar, you can see the sunset right in front of you. It was really pretty. We enjoyed our time there, with the food, drink, & sunset. It was a perfect evening. Plus, it is a great place for a date.

Les cocktails sont vraiment raffinés & excellents à un prix raisonnable pour la qualité + Très belle sélection de spiritueux. La vue est impressionnante; les rayons de lumière qui se reflètent à travers les cocktails lors du coucher de soleil lors du golden hour : tout simplement magique. 🍸 👌🏼
À essayer absolument : le tartare de wagyu australien aux huîtres. Tellement bon que j'en ait repris 2x.
Sora45 cafe is a cozy modern cafe on the 45th floor of place ville marie which converts into a bar in the evenings! Delicious coffee, chai lattes, matchas, & london fogs from Monday-Saturday from 9-4pm. The staff is friendly & the views are so good! Seating can be hard to find on Saturdays so you have better luck during the week. It's also a great place for a study session!
Access via floor PH2 in tower 1 (PVM), then head through glass doors to a second set of elevators to the 45th floor.
Very strange experience. The place feels luxurious while also relaxed at the same time, with beautiful views & chill music. The cocktails are intricate & delicious, with well balanced flavours. The service was, unfortunately, a let down. Nonchalant, throwing the drink coasters a meter across the table & loudly talking at each other, almost screaming, across the place. When we asked for the bill, we were made to wait some good time for no apparent reason.
I believe this can be a 10/10 place, but our experience was just not.
The absolute best spot for a drink, a bite & fabulous service! The view is the most beautiful way to appreciate Montreal, especially at sunset! Will go back again & again. A shout out to the manager & bar chef Carl, the best in the biz!
