Unfortunately, me & my boyfriend's experience was completely ruined by the manager's horrible attitude on tuesday night. From the moment we arrived, she repeatedly looked me up & down & spoke to us in an unnecessarily rude & condescending manner. Even simple questions were met with defensiveness, hostility & attitude. We decided to not get anything & make our way out.
What was especially telling was that when we decided to leave, she apparently realized how unpleasant the interaction had been & came over to offer us free shots at the elevator. We declined & chose to leave instead. At that point, the gesture felt less like genuine hospitality & more like an attempt to compensate for the attitude we had already experienced.
A manager sets the tone for an establishment. Regardless of whatever mood she may have been in, customers should not be made to feel judged, disrespected, or unwelcome. We came in expecting a pleasant evening & instead spent the majority of our time dealing with completely unnecessary hostility from someone who was supposed to represent the restaurant professionally.
I would strongly recommend that management review how this particular manager interacts with customers, because an attitude like this can very easily drive people away from an otherwise good establishment. We will not be returning.
Nous sommes venus de Bruxelles pour notre voyage de noces & avions choisi Sora45 pour passer une belle soirée avec vue sur Montréal. Malheureusement, l'expérience a été extrêmement décevante.
Le soir du 4 août 2026, à notre arrivée, un employé nommé Collin (4 août 20h) , qui gérait l'entrée, nous a inscrits sur la liste d'attente. Après plus d'une heure d'attente, nous sommes revenus demander une mise à jour sur notre statut.
À ce moment-là, nous avons vu plusieurs personnes arriver. Collin les a saluées chaleureusement, leur a fait la bise & leur a attribué une table pour deux immédiatement, juste devant nous. Lorsque nous lui avons demandé des explications, il nous a répondu que ces personnes avaient une réservation.
Pourtant, il est clairement indiqué que Sora45 fonctionne uniquement sur le principe du « walk-in » & n'accepte pas les réservations. Comment ces personnes ont-elles donc pu réserver ? Cette réponse nous a semblé incohérente & donne malheureusement l'impression que certaines personnes bénéficient d'un traitement privilégié.
C'est vraiment décevant comme expérience & je ne recommande clairement pas cet endroit.
This is a great place to have a date & enjoy the city views in a calm & respected environment! The music is selected with a care taste. The drinks are really refined, & the bartenders really know how to make their drinks. The atmosphere is impeccable. Everything is to its right place me & my partner we went to this place & we got a French 75 & an Old Cuban that was recommended by the server. It was an absolute delight.

Nous cherchions un rooftop pour admirer le coucher du soleil lors de notre passage à Montréal & c'est sur recommandation d'une connaissance que nous avons choisi Sora 45. Un choix que nous ne regrettons absolument pas !
La vue est tout simplement magnifique & une fois la nuit tombée, elle prend une toute autre dimension. L'endroit idéal pour terminer une belle journée en beauté.
Côté dégustation, tout était à la hauteur : les cocktails sont excellents & la carte fait honneur à l'adresse. Un coup de coeur particulier pour les Bao au canard, savoureux & généreux !
& pour couronner le tout, l'accueil était chaleureux & attentionné. Merci à toute l'équipe de Sora 45 pour ce moment suspendu au-dessus de Montréal. Une adresse que l'on recommande les yeux fermés !
Great place to see the town. Not the best coffee & service. Probably due to under staff. They looks tired & no smile on face. House was almost full. Coffee was cold.
But everything forgotten after seeing the view. Not a good place to work with your devices due to disturbing noises & music. (Fast wifi.) But for visit short time highly recommend to see the city. Make sure to find right way to lifts. 2 lifts need to take. Perfectly lead by signs.
Such a good vibe with humourous & friendly staff, excellent cocktails, dim lighting & great music. Shout out to the service team who create a welcoming & lively ambiance: Louis, Carlito, Zack & James 🫶🏼 Highly recommend for a night out!
J:y suis allé simplement pour y prendre un verre. Délicieux cocktails. L'ambiance & le décor ajoute à l'expérience.. on a une très jolie vue de Montréal. Je recommande l'heure du couché de soleil sur la ville.
