My girlfriend has been to a couple Sora locations in the UK & when she discovered there is one in MTL we were extremely excited to experience it toguether.
we got there are & although the place is very beautiful with panoramic views of the skyline & a nice atmosphere. it looked very disorganized & hectic with everyone running everywhere, understandable when places get a rush of customers or get too busy so it didn't really change our excitement.
we were seated after 25min or so.
The views are amazing, the music is good. It took a while to get our first drinks, which were average but we still wanted to try more. It took us a while to get the server's attention to bring us the menu again. After that we had been trying to get the server's attention for a long time. I made eye contact & asked her to come to our table at least 4 times & my girlfriend tried a few times as well. in total we have been sitting there for at least 40min without a drink amd being ignored over & over & over ...... it just ruined the whole experience. at that point i went around looking for the server & asked her for the bill which came surprizingly fast (about 2 min after i asked for it) which makes it seem she didn't care about serving us & was happy to get us to leave.
she stood right over my shoulder after putting the machine infront of me to pay. I didn't want to make a scene so i added a small tip & left . But we are for sure never going back there.
we have been exploring the city the last few months & tried several places & i can say confidently this was the worst service we have received so far..... just disappointing.

Sora has really become one of our favorite impromptu date night locations. The staff there, particularly Alia, Collin, Sam & Louie are absolutely top class. Their energy & attention to detail really sets them apart.

Jazz nights on Tuesdays are our favorite, enjoying live music while drinking delicious cocktails. The bartenders are so innovative & choosing a drink at random is a sure way to discover a new delicious treat.

This is a great place to have a date & enjoy the city views in a calm & respected environment! The music is selected with a care taste. The drinks are really refined, & the bartenders really know how to make their drinks. The atmosphere is impeccable. Everything is to its right place me & my partner we went to this place & we got a French 75 & an Old Cuban that was recommended by the server. It was an absolute delight.

WOW what a beautiful café in the heart of Montreal. I suggest coming early if you want to get seats as they are quite limited & the café gets full very fast. The service was friendly & the drinks were good.
But most importantly, shout-out to the person who made the music playlist & please don't ever change it! I was vibing to it the whole time & it felt like a millennial heaven with those throwback songs.

You're really only paying for the view. The service was nice, & the music was good, although a bit too loud.

The disappointing side was the cocktails. You could tell they were trying to make them complex & thematic, but the flavors fell flat & weren't balanced. They looked great, but overall they were quite tasteless & didn't live up to expectations. The esspresso martini was perty good.

C'est dommage.
Très mauvaise surprise au moment de recevoir la note.
Un supplément de 20$ a été ajouté « coverage » pour la band sans mon accord.
Dans le fond je trouve ça normal de rémunérer des musiciens mais pas au détriment du client.
Aucun signalement in-situ, le personnel me dit m'avoir informé à l'entrée & « tout le monde sait que le mardi c'est 10$ », non.

Je cherche a contacter la direction car indisponible hier soir.

I was here on a Friday first thing in the morning & I loved it. Very cozy vibe, good music & awesome view. The hot chocolate was delicious with oat milk.

Great place to see the town. Not the best coffee & service. Probably due to under staff. They looks tired & no smile on face. House was almost full. Coffee was cold.

But everything forgotten after seeing the view. Not a good place to work with your devices due to disturbing noises & music. (Fast wifi.) But for visit short time highly recommend to see the city. Make sure to find right way to lifts. 2 lifts need to take. Perfectly lead by signs.

Such a good vibe with humourous & friendly staff, excellent cocktails, dim lighting & great music. Shout out to the service team who create a welcoming & lively ambiance: Louis, Carlito, Zack & James 🫶🏼 Highly recommend for a night out!
