Cool place with fresh pizzas & home made sodas. Great selection of pizzas to choose from. We had a meat lovers & an arugula prosciutto slice. We also tried a peach soda & a grapefruit soda. Everything was delicious & super fast.View more

Amazing food & service. Staff gave me & my girlfriend a complimentary soda & cookie since we had to'wait' for our food (it took about 10 minutes which is normal for us so we were pleasantly surprised). The food itself matched the vibe & the service. Excellent all around. We came from Regina to explore Montreal & left with Slice n Soda being one of the highlights. I would recommend to anyone to go there & if you're passing through, definitely give it a visit. We will certainly be back when we come to YUL again!View more

We tried a Margherita pizza, a veggie pizza, fried potatoes, & sodas.
The fried potatoes were very spicy & not crispy.
The pizzas were good-one slice was enough for me.
They reheat the pizzas, but they're totally different from freshly made ones.
The sodas were so-so; I didn't feel they were worth $5.50.View more

On my first trip to Montreal, I ended up walking about 12.5 kilometers through the city, exploring & taking photos-so by the time I spotted Slice + Soda, I had definitely worked up an appetite. I originally wandered in thinking they served poutine (because, let's be real, poutine & pizza sounds like a dream combo), but once I realized they didn't, I stuck around anyway. The cool vibe inside & the sight of a grinning customer walking out with three oversized boxes of pizza was all the convincing I needed.
The staff were friendly, bilingual, & super efficient. Service was fast, & I was able to grab a spot just in time before a line started forming. Seating is very limited-just a few stools lining the wall & one communal table that could fit maybe 4-6 people, so timing your visit definitely helps.
The interior is visually fun, with movie stills of iconic characters eating pizza plastered along the walls, & the whole place has this stylish, street-food-meets-film-nerd charm. I ordered a pepperoni slice that was literally bigger than my head, a soda, & some waffle-style fries that were crispy, seasoned, & way better than I expected.
There was a ton of construction outside, so the pedestrian traffic was pretty filtered & narrow-otherwise I imagine the place would've been absolutely packed.
Sure, pizza might not be top of the list for most tourists visiting Montreal, but if you're after a quick, cheap, & genuinely tasty lunch, Slice + Soda checks all the boxes. I'd absolutely go back.View more

If you are walking around the area is a good place to grab & go. Pizza is good but not the best. The staff is friendly & the place has a few high seats & 8 chairs on a big square table. They open late & you can swing by & eat quickly. Brooklyn style pizza, sodas. Nice decoration.View more

Nice little pizza place that was around the area that I was staying in so I thought I would give it a try. Got the trio combo which gives you a slice of pizza, a drink & fries which was a fairly good deal at $14 before tax. I got the prosciutto pizza slice with Bae soda. The pizza slice was really large which was nice to see. The soda also tasted great, had a fruity taste which paired well with the carbonated water for that fizz. The fries were waffle style with a spicy kick to it. Now on to the main course; after taking a bite of the slice, I have to say, it was one of the best pizza slices I've ever had in my life. The undercarriage was firm, nice amount of ingredients & incredible tasting tomato sauce. The prosciutto also tasted very great & combined all those flavours together. Incredible pizza with good portion sizes & a flavourful soda to top it off. Definitely a must try if you are in the area.View more

This place was across the street from our boutique hotel in Montreal, so we stopped in for a quick lunch. We each got a slice & I got one of their sodas. The slices are HUGE! We are from a city in the US known for having good pizza, so we are always slightly skeptical of pizza places when traveling, but it was so good. Thin crust, sweeter sauce, good flavor. It was the perfect place to stop for a filling lunch before walking around the city. Not a ton of seating, but we grabbed one by the window & were able to people watch while we ate.View more

ForcĂ©ment c'est le rush pour nous vers 20h il y a beaucoup de monde mais la serveuse fait de son mieux pour gĂ©rer les clients/les commandes. Pizza gĂ©nĂ©reuse en sauce beaucoup moins & c'est dommage sur la garniture notamment en poulet ! Autrement la pĂąte est assez croustillante & bonne. Vu l'attente & le monde je n'ai pas pris le risque de commander les sodas pour Ă©viter une attente encore plus longue. Dommage une prochaine fois peut ĂȘtre en semaine ? Je dĂ©conseille aprĂšs 20h ou alors de faire preuve de patience. For the price point, this is a great spot to hit up if you want to grab something to eat without doing a full dine-in. We ordered the Prosciutto pizza & BBQ chicken pizza ($6.50 each before tax), both were great. Loved that they heated it up for us. Great crust & great flavour. Slices. Are. Massive. SO WORTH IT. We also got the Peach Fuzz soda ($5.50) & gnocchi ($5.95). The soda was good, & they had a bunch of other flavours that I might go back to try. But the gnocchi...feel free to pass; it wasn't terrible but it was quite bland & the pizza at a similar price far excelled.View more

Slide & Soda is a cute pizza place we walked by a few times on our trip to Montreal. We decided to stop in for lunch...& well got ourselves a slice & soda! The slice you got was huge & wasn't expensive at all. The vibe of this pizzeria was unlike anything I have seen. Exposed brink, board games, fun art & a pinball machine. We sat at the last two seats available at the window but there was a giant table in the middle where anyone can sit where you can chat with the locals. I'm from NY. This pizza does look & smell like NY pizza but flavor is not good enough. Lacking seasoning so pizza is very bland tasting. This doesn't fill the void for me. New Yorkers, don't expect much. Sodas are good tho.View more
