Great fun place to have drinks, snacks & people watch. Service was outstandingView more
We went on a Monday night & it was so good we came back on Tuesday! The atmosphere is a bit fancy but relaxed & there is also a bar. The food came out fast & was very good but the star of the show were the cocktails. They have everything you could think of & they were willing to add to their selection! I could not recommend the margarita or the strawberry daiquiri (drink of the month) enough!!View more
Great place for a drink & to meet people. Food is typical pub fare but very good.View more
Great night out with friends. Double rum & cokes at 25$ each drink is a little much in my opinion but the service is attentive & super chillView more
Went for drinks after dinner at another restaurant. Just a decibel too loud. Couldn't hear what others were saying.View more
Great place! Even better drink specials & happy hour :) our server was very friendly & provided a lot of recommendations in the area to check out since we're from Toronto. They also had free pizza & weenies during happy hour! Super happy :DView more
Had a good lunch & returned 2 days later for drinks.View more
Great place, drinks, food, live music perfect to 5 a 7View more
This pub is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Montreal's downtown, offering a warm ambiance in both its indoor & balcony areas. The staff were friendly, which was a plus. However, the menu & drinks list had limited choices, & neither my wife nor I enjoyed our food in terms of both quality & taste. Additionally, the prices were quite high for the level of food offered. I'm unsure if I will return.View more
Bel endroit, bonne ambiance, bouffe correcte.
Wen't there last min bcuz our plan's were canceled. It's a grenade low end bar, the weirdest crowd I have ever seen in a nightclub. The bouncer was acting mr.tough guy, I attempted to explain something to him & he simply didn't allow me to speak started screaming out loud to look tough around the surrounding crowd, well dude take a chill pill u prob make like $14/hour & will go back to ur cheap apartment after ur shift so what is the tough guy actin all about? So to all tourist's in Montreal, don't be fooled by this place, this is a low end spot this place really doesn't represent Montreal's night life. This place is mostly frequented by the rejected ones, Punjabi Concordia students, wannabe ballers who think by spending $30 for drinks they are in the fast life or the over 40 left overs who have miserably failed in life & still wanna party to escape Reality. On Crescent : Jet or Electric Avenue. St-Laurent street is good for early 20's crowd, try Ecole Privee or Muzique Yoko Luna on de la Montagne TOP St-Denis good spots as well Or for high class experience Old Port. But avoid this junk at all cost.View more
It's a very old & large pub. There are two bars & a balcony. Nice service & classic drinks . I don't remember the food they have, cause we go there for the drinks. Good atmosphere.View more
A nice evening out, with live music. We were upstairs at Winnies. Cold drinks & good music.View more
I always visit Winnie's when I go to Mtl, great food & drink as well as welcoming atmosphereView more
A very nice French restaurant. Great drinks. Excellent food. Steaks were🤌🏾, liver was so perfect. The waiter was great. We don't speak French, his English was meh, but was very patient.View more
Chose to start my summer by coming to Winnie's. Had a great time as always! I got my drinks served from Khara, & they were really good. I've been served by Khara before & it's always a fun time with her:) She always puts her best foot forward! It was good to see that she still works there! It's always nice to see a familiar face!View more
OK place, drinks are good, festive but somewhat doubtful crowd at times.View more
The bartender was very nice & accommodating. Drinks were very inexpensive & at night on Tuesdays there is an excellent $2.50 promotion.View more
Great place, great service. Good place to drink after 8pm.View more
Big pub, & a nice round-the table bar, suitable for going solo or in groups. The down part was that the two (not-busy) barmaids completely ignored me for a good 10-15 minutes, until after 7:05 when the happy hour finished. Apparently happy hour (5-7pm) is when you get two drinks for one! & I didn't even know that. I wanted to take only one drink & leave! Cause I was meeting friends afterwards for dinner, & I had half an hour to kill, so decided to have a quick drink & discover the place at the same time. The ignorance was discouraging! Even if somebody was there to use the opportunity of the happy hour offer, that was very disrespectful!View more
Came in for a quick drink of the patio. You have to spend 6CAD pp if you are dining outside. Honestly not sure how you would want to sit inside because it was very dark & smelled odd. The other downside on the patio seating is that the tables are so close together, that you are SQUEEZING back to back with people behind you I had ordered an espresso martini bc I've had nothing but great ones in Montreal...needless to say the one I had gotten was just really off (not sure if it was bad coffee or what). But I had to send it back, & replace with another drink (White Russian) which was also just ok. The waitress seemed nice but wasn't really attentive. I was very appreciative that she didn't push back on me sending back the drink, but only come here if you have time to wait.View more
Kind of reminded me of the bar where Quincy used to drink. Like a subterranean lounge theme but with dance music or whatever. Staff were helpful. Happy hour in Montreal is a good jam. Food was plentiful & pleasant.View more
Service was a bit slow even though no one was there. A little pricey, however the drinks were strong & the music & atmosphere was great! Would recommend for drinks & some bar food!View more
Winston Churchill is divided in two levels. The top part is a pretty ordinary bar/restaurant layout, with settings leaning into upscale. The downstairs portion turns into a lounge on weekends, with cover & a mandatory coat check. It's a pretty spacious area to walk around, drink & mingle. The dancefloor is always busy & a blast to be on. Definitely a pick up spot for singles or a fun night out for couples.View more
Dont order food there. We went as a group the majority of the food was not good. We had beef roast my friend & i it was cold my friend has a burger it was ok but the fries were not good the Thai chicken was ok the dessert was okay'ish at best . The waitress was nice to offer to reheat it but who reheat an already dry roast i had to eat it because at 33$ a plate who wants to throw that! A bit disappointed. Go there for drinks its ok but its not what it was before.View more
Decided to spend new years in Montreal this year & we found this place randomly. This was a lovely experience! Cover was reasonable, the band was awesome & the service was excellent. Getting drinks was a little bit slow but this is expected on a busy night. However the server was working hard all night long. The drinks were good quality & really reasonable. We were only planning to stay until the countdown but the music & drinks made us stay much longer. Thinking back the food looked great too. We didn't order any but the stuff we saw coming out the kitchen looked delicious. Highly recommended for a fun night out.View more
