I visited this pub hoping to catch a Premier League game, but that wasn't an option. The venue was nearly empty, resulting in a noticeably subdued atmosphere-even though the service was quite good. If you're seeking a lively game-watching experience, you might want to try somewhere else.View more
Great English pub. Great jambalaya. The atmosphere is perfect.View more
Really cozy bar with good music & vibe. This pub can get a little racey & rowdy quick though.View more
This pub is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Montreal's downtown, offering a warm ambiance in both its indoor & balcony areas. The staff were friendly, which was a plus. However, the menu & drinks list had limited choices, & neither my wife nor I enjoyed our food in terms of both quality & taste. Additionally, the prices were quite high for the level of food offered. I'm unsure if I will return.View more
It's a very old & large pub. There are two bars & a balcony. Nice service & classic drinks . I don't remember the food they have, cause we go there for the drinks. Good atmosphere.View more
Great pub for a quick bite & watch the game. Nice patio on Cresent.View more
Nice place, just one comment. The minimum tip in the card machine should be 15 & not 18 %. Tips in Montreal are crazy compared to Europe or other places. Winston Churchill's soul will be upset with the 18%. I'm sure he doesn't love the Montreal tip philosophy. In London I asked to add a tip in a pub, & the waitress said "is not necessary, is noon my friend". Anyway, I liked the pub, great music too! :)View more
Big pub, & a nice round-the table bar, suitable for going solo or in groups. The down part was that the two (not-busy) barmaids completely ignored me for a good 10-15 minutes, until after 7:05 when the happy hour finished. Apparently happy hour (5-7pm) is when you get two drinks for one! & I didn't even know that. I wanted to take only one drink & leave! Cause I was meeting friends afterwards for dinner, & I had half an hour to kill, so decided to have a quick drink & discover the place at the same time. The ignorance was discouraging! Even if somebody was there to use the opportunity of the happy hour offer, that was very disrespectful!View more
We stopped for lunch here, had a few beers & some yummy food. Our waitress was great & the beer was cold. This pub is very big & clean.View more

Nice pub with 2nd level patio seating. Cocktail was stiff. Didn't eat, but food looked appealing.View more
Had a few drinks with another millionaire friend of mine from our millionaires private club.
Sir Winston Churchill Pud STILL ROCKS !!!!
well upstairs....
We sat out on the terrace had some drinks & some shooters the waitress was very pleasant for service & she was not ugly & we had a great time we will be going back, there was a band playing inside there were people, it was a lot of fun.
The tables on the tourists or 4 chairs but I think you could sit like a group inside this place is a legend in the city if you're going to go try somewhere this is the place to go if you're from out of town especially or even if you are local this place never gets old you always have a good time it's always good memories so get up & get ready & go I can't even go downstairs in the club upstairs has more rock band & downstairs is more like a club scene at least I think I was upstairs & it was more like a rock band & people dress regular like.
The waitress made our night memorable, Trinity was her name I think & she was awesome.
We had some shooters & I made out with her...ok ok I didn't........(awkward moment)
So as I was saying you know you want to go so don't hesitate, go, & when you have a great time you know you're going to have write a comment let them know this place still rocks
