Sushis were good, but not as good as other vegan sushi restaurants in Montreal IMO. The sushi rice was lacking a bit of seasoning... Also not sticky enough, some sushis weren't holding well together. Flavours were good but some combinations were just not working for me. Overall a positive experience, I recommend to go if you're in the area, but wouldn't make a detour for it considering other options in town!View more
This place exceeded my expectations in terms of the food, visuals, taste, & aesthetic of the restaurant. However, the only thing that I would say was negative would be that the day my family & I came in, there was a group of 10-12 ppl & there wasn't enough staff to accommodate the demand which made the service a bit slow. I am still glad we tried out this place though, everything was delicious! A bit pricey but a nice treat nevertheless for a special occasion & small gathering. Suitable for vegans & non-vegans alike I can't recommend this place enough! Try it for yourself & you'll be blown away:DView more
Delicious vegan sushi!!! All items we ordered were fabulous. My favourites: Blossom rolls & the Gyoza but really everything tasted fresh & wonderful. Service was attentive & friendly :) Highly recommend!View more
First time here & the food & drinks did not disappoint!!! They were all so good & every roll that we ordered was unique in flavor & texture! I really have nothing bad to say. The server was very helpful & kind as well. I would definitely come back here again & recommend to others! My favorite rolls were Geisha, Samurai, & Bloom but honestly, everything was delicious & quality made! I'm excited to come back to try more rolls!View more
Great place to enjoy cruelty-free sushis. If you have the chance to book in advance, I would recommend to ask for the "hot pot". As far as I know, it's the only place in the area that you can eat that special dish. You must love mushrooms though. Sushis are excellent too.View more
It was a lovely experience, went there with friends for lunch. The food was delicious, service excellent & had a cozy comfortable vibe. I especially like the presentation of the plates, & the value per price. Just right. I definitely recommend Shushu Haru, even if one is not vegan. It's worth the experience. Ps: I recommend the Samurai roll & Everest roll.View more

The portions were good, we were super hungry didnt photograph all the plates we ordered ... We had the Gua Bao which I definetly recommend, some sweet potato truffle fries, a selection of sushi with the set menu & yakisoba veggie noodles ... Check the pics Oh & we went on Sunday & had trouble finding a place to park ....View more
This place serves extremely delicious & reasonably priced food. We had the Bao oyster mushroom, the gyoza & the Hawaiian hot dish & udon noodle hot dish. For dessert we had the mango & strawberry sticky rice. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend.View more
The service was great, fast & so very kind. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a miso soup, a mushroom sushi pizza & some hosomakis, it was all delectable. I would very much recommend the sushi pizza, if I had to pick a favorite, it was, according to my girlfriend, & I quote: "the best thing I've ever put in my mouth".View more
The food, as usual was exceptional! The service was a bit slow, we site for more than 2 hours. I would Highly recommend that you do something about your water, il taste like raw st-Laurent water. Maybe think of filter, adding lemon or lot of people ice could help...
Truly, I am at a loss of words. So many vegan sushi places have been such a disappointment. I guess I'm a foodie with very high standards. This is the ABSOLUTE best sushi ever! Vegan or not, you will love it. I promise! Your only regret will be that you didn't come sooner!
I highly recommend the Mushroom bao Buns, the dumplings, the tempura (to die for!), the 3 Mushroom sushi, the Ete (44), the simple sweet potato roll, the Avocado roll. Basically, EVERYTHING we got was impossibly good!View more
I excitedly awaited a visit to Shushu Haru & when I finally got there, it was even better than I anticipated. The food was so fresh, tasty & elegantly prepared & put together. The staff was friendly & attentive (& super accommodating to my allergies which isn’t easy considering sesame is prominent in Japanese cuisine). Cute decor too & a great location by Atwater Market. A gorgeous dine-in experience or perfect for take-out by the canal. 10/10 would recommend.View more
Excellent restaurant. First, the waitress was really nice. Second, all the dishes we tried were FULL of flavor & the texture skill of the Chefs are unbelievable!! Definitely recommend to anyone & will go back again.
