Very good quality sushi. Would go back!
UPDATE: One of my favorite places for sushi.
Quality is amazing & comparable to Japan
One of my favourite sushi experiences in Montreal! The quality, drinks, ambiance, & warm service makes this spot worth the visit ☺️ We really enjoyed the salmon tartare, chicken karaage, charashi, yuzu drinks & desserts! Thank you to Sonny, Jean (apologies if wrong spelling) & team for providing a great dinner experience ❤️ À la prochaine!
One of my favorite sushi spots in Brossard, this place is a hidden gem. The service is truly 5-star, with friendly, attentive staff who make you feel welcome. The sushi is fresh & flavorful, & the ambiance adds a nice touch to the dining experience. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality, & parking was hassle-free. I highly recommend this spot for a date night. It's an all-around great experience.
If you're looking for the best sushi experience without breaking the bank, Shoji Sushi is where you want to be. Nestled in a cozy, inviting spot, this hidden gem serves up authentic Japanese cuisine that transports you straight to Tokyo. The menu offers an impressive range of sushi, sashimi, & classic Japanese dishes, all prepared with a dedication to authenticity & quality that's hard to find at such reasonable prices. The fish is incredibly fresh & sliced with precision, with every piece melting in your mouth. Highlights include the toro (fatty tuna) & uni (sea urchin) sushi, which are delicate, buttery, & bursting with flavor. Each dish showcases the chef's attention to detail, making it clear that quality & tradition are top priorities. Beyond the sushi, the warm miso soup, crispy tempura, & flavorful ramen add to the comforting, authentic experience. The service is excellent, too, with knowledgeable staff eager to recommend dishes & answer questions. Shoji Sushi proves that amazing sushi doesn't have to be a splurge. For true Japanese food lovers, this spot is an absolute must-visit!
"As someone trying sushi for the first time, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The quality & freshness of the sushi were outstanding, & the presentation was impeccable. The staff provided excellent service, being both attentive & knowledgeable, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, whether you're new to sushi or a seasoned enthusiast. Thank you for such a memorable meal!"
Very good sushi, one of the best in the city. We got the omikase deluxe. Definitely on the expensive side, but high quality & good eats. Service is on the slower side (took us about 3ish hours), but nice & accommodating waiters/waitresses. Drinks are cool & good too.
For our 11th wedding anniversary, my wife & I decided to celebrate at Shoji restaurant in Brossard. From the moment we walked in, I was impressed by the Japanese ambiance-it's a beautifully decorated place that feels both elegant & welcoming. The staff were friendly & attentive, making us feel at ease right away. I did mention to our server that we were celebrating our anniversary, but initially, nothing special was done to acknowledge it. At the end of the evening, they did surprise us with a complimentary shooter of sake to mark the occasion, which was a nice touch, even though it came a bit later than I expected. Now, on to the food. I started with the Mango & Dragon Eye Maki, & I have to say, it was really good. The flavors were fresh, & the presentation was spot on. My wife ordered the Ichiban combo, & we both noticed how big the sushi pieces were compared to what you usually get elsewhere. This was a pleasant surprise-definitely more than we expected. I also had the miso soup as an entrée, which was a nice, warm start to the meal. My wife opted for the octopus ceviche, but unfortunately, it arrived way later than expected. However, the staff handled it well by deciding not to charge us for it, which I appreciated. Despite the delay, the ceviche was delicious. Shoji isn't cheap, but the portions are generous, & the freshness of the ingredients really stands out. In my opinion, the price is justified given the quality & the experience. This is definitely a restaurant I'd keep in mind for special occasions or a nice date night. Overall, we had a great time at Shoji. Despite a couple hiccups, the food was delicious, & the atmosphere made it a memorable evening. Thanks to the staff for the great service & compliment to the kitchen staff for their work ethic that really translates in the food they presented to us. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dining experience in Brossard.
Recommending this place over & over just love their food! Great quality great service !
We had an amazing time at Shoji once again. We ordered à la carte sushis & they were all excellent. We particularly love the sushi pizza & the the salmon kamikaze. We had mango cheesecake & fried vanilla ice cream for dessert & they were both delicious. Quality of food & presentation is #1. Our waitress Dominique was very friendly & helpful, thank you!!
Unbeatable value for great sushis. The guys behind the counter know what they're doing & always deliver the freshest, tastiest, most melt in your mouth sushis. Quality has been very consistent through the years. When I crave sushis this spot is my go-to. Other sushis just don't do it for me anymore.
went there for a late Valentines Day date with my boyfriend & everything was beyond our expectations. Haven't been there in 4-5 years & the quality hasn't changed. It's still as fresh & delicious. Our server was SO great, I forgot to ask his name. & the chefs were super nice as well. We loved our experience so much, you will definitely not be disappointed if you love Japanese cuisine. & an other plus, prices are very reasonable for the quality that they deliver! 😊
Although a bit pricey, the quality of their ingredients are pretty amazing. The fishes were fresh, they tasted great & the rice was also amazing. It wasn't over flavoured & wasn't sticky which made them great for sushi. I also really enjoyed their wasabi, it had a strong flavour & they were quite generous with it. The ginger & soya sauce were also given in abundance. I do feel like their soya sauce is a bit basic on the other hand, it was homemade, judging from the containers, but they were lacking in impact compared to a lot of other sushi restaurants.

Phenomenal food, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety in tastes & the quality of ingredients! Service was super filriendly, timely, just impeccable. Thank you!
Went in with low expectations but wow was I shocked. The tasting menu experience is truly for real sushi lovers with quality ingredients you won’t find elsewhere. Service for us was impeccable & offered excellent value for the quality of ingredients.

Our first time there & it was really good. On the pricier side but we had a hard time to find a good quality sushi like this. Would definitely go back for special occasions.

Excellent quality ... Negri variety one of best in montreal . Small resto space ... it's all about the quality of the fish going into the sushi ! Will be back .

Hard to believe that I paid 140$ for the tasting menu & ended up with so little food. My friend had the charashi bowl for a fraction of the price & definitely had a lot more to eat. The service was pretty spotty & our dishes were not explained to us, so I couldn't even tell you what I ate other than 6 tiny slices of marinated fish, 7 pairs of similarly sized sashimi slices & 6 pairs of nigiri. I will admit that this mystery food was top quality but after dropping 250$ dollars on dinner for 2, I would have hoped not to leave hungry. First & last visit for sure.

We have been here lots of times but unfortunately the quality has changed. The higher bar-type tables were not comfortable. Alsowe always take the degustation menu & this time it was disappointing. Not worth the price whatsoever.
