Definitely one of my favourite sushi restaurant. Service is top notch. Food is incredible & creative! The foie gras with truffle is to die for. Even my 9 year old loves it! The food is so fresh. Easy 5 star review!

The staff provided excellent service, being both attentive & knowledgeable, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. For our 11th wedding anniversary, my wife & I decided to celebrate at Shoji restaurant in Brossard. From the moment we walked in, I was impressed by the Japanese ambiance-it's a beautifully decorated place that feels both elegant & welcoming. The staff were friendly & attentive, making us feel at ease right away. I did mention to our server that we were celebrating our anniversary, but initially, nothing special was done to acknowledge it. At the end of the evening, they did surprise us with a complimentary shooter of sake to mark the occasion, which was a nice touch, even though it came a bit later than I expected. Now, on to the food. I started with the Mango & Dragon Eye Maki, & I have to say, it was really good. The flavors were fresh, & the presentation was spot on. My wife ordered the Ichiban combo, & we both noticed how big the sushi pieces were compared to what you usually get elsewhere. This was a pleasant surprise-definitely more than we expected. I also had the miso soup as an entrée, which was a nice, warm start to the meal. My wife opted for the octopus ceviche, but unfortunately, it arrived way later than expected. However, the staff handled it well by deciding not to charge us for it, which I appreciated. Despite the delay, the ceviche was delicious. Shoji isn't cheap, but the portions are generous, & the freshness of the ingredients really stands out. In my opinion, the price is justified given the quality & the experience. This is definitely a restaurant I'd keep in mind for special occasions or a nice date night. Overall, we had a great time at Shoji. Despite a couple hiccups, the food was delicious, & the atmosphere made it a memorable evening. Thanks to the staff for the great service & compliment to the kitchen staff for their work ethic that really translates in the food they presented to us. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dining experience in Brossard.
Excellent. Great atmosphere, friendly & professional staff, & absolutely delicious sushi. Super, fresh & varied fish choices. They also have a great selection of sake & our favourite Japanese beer, Hitachino. Will definitely come back again
Unbeatable value for great sushis. The guys behind the counter know what they're doing & always deliver the freshest, tastiest, most melt in your mouth sushis. Quality has been very consistent through the years. When I crave sushis this spot is my go-to. Other sushis just don't do it for me anymore.

Best sushi on the south shore. They have innovative rolls & very fresh fish! My go to orders are the chirashi bowl & the eel maki roll. The chirashi has a generous amount of fish & is excellent value. The eel roll contains foie gras as well & has a nice balance of sweet & smokey along with the floralness of the chiso leaf. Also recommend trying their omakase! Amazing value for the amount of food you get! For a 140$ for 2 people, it came with a platter of sashimi, 4 nigiri, 16 maki rolls & a crudo dish. On the Friday we went, the omakase came with complimentary sake. The yuzu sake was incredible. The service was also great & will definitely be coming back!
Easily the best sushi restaurant in the South Shore. Menu includes both classic & innovative dishes. The fish selection is wonderful & so fresh! Service is super friendly for both dine in & takeout. Highly recommended!

went there for a late Valentines Day date with my boyfriend & everything was beyond our expectations. Haven't been there in 4-5 years & the quality hasn't changed. It's still as fresh & delicious. Our server was SO great, I forgot to ask his name. & the chefs were super nice as well. We loved our experience so much, you will definitely not be disappointed if you love Japanese cuisine. & an other plus, prices are very reasonable for the quality that they deliver! 😊
We tried the deluxe omakase for Valentine's day, & were really impressed with the freshness of the ingredients. I especially liked the torched salmon nigiri with foie gras, melts in your mouth 👌 ! We waited a bit for the third service (sashimi), so apparently they moved up the specialty maki rolls, which were also delicious Finally, the sashimi bowl had a great selection of tasty fish. Would try again.
Although a bit pricey, the quality of their ingredients are pretty amazing. The fishes were fresh, they tasted great & the rice was also amazing. It wasn't over flavoured & wasn't sticky which made them great for sushi. I also really enjoyed their wasabi, it had a strong flavour & they were quite generous with it. The ginger & soya sauce were also given in abundance. I do feel like their soya sauce is a bit basic on the other hand, it was homemade, judging from the containers, but they were lacking in impact compared to a lot of other sushi restaurants.
Shoji has become our traditional Friday night / date night venue. In September 2023, we went for a lunch & have been back for supper every Friday since. The food is always delicious & the sushi is always prepared with the freshest fish in an expert manner. We love the servers there, very friendly & give excellent recommendations. From the outside appearance of the restaurant, you would never know the secret gem it holds inside. Give it a try, it will be worth your time!
This place was recommended to us by a friend. We tried it with high expectations as we're sushi lovers. We placed a pick up order, they forgot to add our limonade, soft shell crab, extra mayo we paid for, so we had to go back. They didn't compensate for anything when we went back, I had to wait 15 minutes for things to be ready. I was hoping the sushis would make up for the missing items, they unfortunately didn't. Everything was ok, however for $120 for 2, I was expecting way more. Rolls were very basic & & lacked taste. Items were fresh, bug yet again extremely basic. For the price there are better sushi places out there.
We've only ordered through uber so far, so this review is solely about the food. We highly recommend their chirashi bowl, it is filled with fresh & flavorful ingredients & the rice is always perfect!
