Hands down the best Sushi in the South Shore. I travel to Japan each summer & the sashimi here is similar in style. They also know fish 🐟 - they have cuts other shops don't have. The price is fair & they have daily specials if you eat there. The staff are also extremely nice & generous!

Really enjoyed my experience at Shoji Sushi. The sushi was fresh, balanced, & nicely prepared without drowning everything in heavy sauces. Fish quality stood out right away, & the portions were satisfying for the price. It's a smaller place, but that actually adds to the cozy & authentic atmosphere, making the experience feel more personal & relaxed. Service was attentive & efficient, & overall the experience felt genuine compared to many overly trendy sushi spots lately.

I went during the week for lunch with my dad. The quality of the fish was good. There was one roll that I really didn't like & made me feel a bit sick.

Everything else was ok. I really liked their bowl best. I would say that if you are nearby & want to appease the sushi craving, this is ok. But nothing mind blowing.

Amazing staff, super kind & charismatic. Went with my wife & had an amazing meal. The food isn't cheap but I wouldn't say the prices were ostentatious. We are both avid sushi eater this was amazing quality like ive never had before, the fish had 0 fishy after taste ( which I am very sensitive to)
the one thing is the seating for half the restaurant, are these awkwardly tall chairs & tables that weren't comfortable especially since youre sititng there abit longer than an AYCE spot. Next time I would ask on my reservation for regular seating.

EDIT*** We went a second time & it was even better than the first, I got the regular seating & the evening was truly amazing, the food just as fresh & delectable as the first. Customer service by Jean was also amazing. Im notnone to like a la carte place but this is the exception for me. This will 100% become a regular for me

EDIT2*** went a third time & yet again they've outdone themselves again, this time we were served by Fatima (jean also made an appearance to brighten our evening) she was phenomenal! The food was as amazing as eventful awestruck by this place, it has really become my favorite restaurant to splurge on. The foodnis amazing the ambience is perfect for me but the staff, I think the staff is really what bring me back over & over again.

if you've made it this far I highly recommend, the torched scallop roll & the fried crab roll. If youre a fan of wasabi ask for the freshly grated one highly recommended.

Shoji Sushi is easily one of the best sushi experiences on the South Shore.

From the moment you walk in, you can tell this is not your typical sushi spot. The atmosphere is clean, modern, & relaxed, & the service is attentive without ever feeling rushed or forced.

The quality of the fish is where they really stand out. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, well-balanced, & carefully prepared. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The nigiri was especially impressive - simple, clean, & executed perfectly.

Presentation is also on point. Every plate looks refined & intentional, which adds to the overall experience.

Yes, it's on the higher-end side, but it's absolutely worth it if you're looking for quality over quantity & a more elevated sushi experience.

Definitely a place I'll keep coming back to & recommending.

I order take out from Shoji in Greenfield park throught the online app. The experience is straightforward & easy. The price is on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for.

I never had the chance to dine in, but by the simple gestures & introduction of the omakase platter by naming each dish/fish was a plus to my experience while it was a simple take out.

I have ordered many times from them & even if it's not dine-in, the fish & food tastes fresh & good.

- Nigiri Sake toro & fois gras, excellent!

The food was great, took the omakase. A little busy, not going to lie. Freshness of the fish is a good 8.5. Pretty high, i feel like its worth its money. The food is not traditionally japanese, what i mean is that; it has western inflience. For example some of the stuff was spicy (i love), but my gf would not be able to eat it. Though i have to say, i wouldve like the tempura the traditional way of doing it. (Flakey not the battered compact). But overall pretty good, would recommend.
