I went to Shinas, & not only was it beautifully decorated, but the staff & food was amazing. I am coeliac & have to be very careful with cross contamination, however, my server made sure my food was safe. I had the gluten-free lemon ricotta pancakes & they were incredible. I visited this place a couple of months ago & am just now getting around to posting my review. The decor is lovely, but I was disappointed with the food. They advertised a mushroom & brie shakshuka & noted it wasn't traditional, which I appreciated. However, my egg was fully cooked. When I mentioned it, they explained they serve it this way because most people don't like it runny. While they noted some differences in the sauce, they hadn't mentioned that the egg would be fully cooked. I was disappointed they didn't offer to adjust it, especially since they'd changed a key element without explaining it upfront.Voir plus

Was there today & not impressed. It took 40 min just to get a drink... food took over an hour, waitress very slow. It wasn't even that busy Did not fill our water. My son ordered scrambled eggs & it came with loads of dill & green onions in it. Steak was bland & toast was hard as a rock. & expensive ...Voir plus

Wow! What a treat! Great tasting food, prepared with attention to detail by an excellent chef. Ingredients are from local producers & very fresh. Prices are reasonable. Had lunch with four friends & we all rate it a 5/5. The decor is beautiful, bright, inviting & super-clean. The photos don't do it justice. We will certainly return!Voir plus

Shinas offers an uplifting atmosphere & a refreshing & relaxed environment. Personally I loved the breakfast specialty dishes. IDK was my order which upon my first bite I quickly declared it as I Definitely Know this is a great restaurant. The lemon ricotta pancake. Hello!!! It was way beyond my expectations. Generous local Maple syrup & butter to boot. My wife ordered The Whole Shabang which had an incredible savoury sauce & was delectable. Generous portions won't leave anyone hungry. The Spiced Pear Bellini was perfect. The owner said hello & explained the benefits of eating & supporting local & qualitative non-mgo, farm fresh ingredients. You will not be disappointed. La nourriture était correcte, sans plus. Les portions sont assez maigres, surtout considérant les prix. Je dois dire par contre que les trois étoiles sont surtout à cause du café. Mon latte était vraiment poche, je ne l'ai même pas fini. Un restaurant a brunch qui sait pas faire du bon café c'est pas super vendeur pour une seconde visite.
