La cuisine libanaise contemporaine est savoureuse et bien présentée, avec une belle variété de mezze, de dips et de plats de viande qui séduisent aussi bien en brunch qu'au dîner. Le brunch est particulièrement apprécié pour ses plats signatures comme le shawarma eggs Benedict et les baklava pancakes, ainsi que pour les options végétariennes généreuses; le tout est accompagné d’un cadre dynamique et convivial qui donne l’impression d’une expérience soignée dès la première visite. I wanted to try this restaurant for a long time. I decided to make a reservation for brunch to celebrate my 24th wedding anniversary. Food was good. Service & ambiance were great! Now my husband's food was a little cold. Mimosas were ok but not too cold. We ordered a side of potatoes which came with ketchup, we ordered an extra ketchup & when we received our bill it was extra $3. Really? For ketchup? On the reservation they asked if is an special occasion & I wrote it was my wedding anniversary, usually restaurants do something. Don't get me wrong I'm not expecting not to pay but at least acknowledge, why ask in the first place?

I used to love this place, specially for dinner but brunch also used to be good. Last time I went though, brunch was very bad... the mimosas were done with juice from a box... & the dishes were not great at all, im very disappointed because I used to love it. It will take me some time to get over that brunch to go back for dinner but never doing brunch again
My friends & I reserved a late brunch this past Saturday & were greeted with a warm smile & welcome by Talia. She told me on arrival that she had noted my request to be seated away from the front door, & not close to any serving areas, & said that she had taken the liberty of reserving a lovely booth for us & pointed it out. We were ecstatic as the place was jumping & people were pouring in, & we were a few minutes early. Talia suggested we have a seat at the bar if we'd like a cocktail in the mean time, & we did so. Once at the bar we were told we would get an even better table, a boott at the front window which was just perfect! We even had a little heater blasting hot air as it was frigid still out. Later the manager, Olivier came over to check on us to see if we were happy with everything, the service, the table, the meals? Everything was just spot on! The meal (benedict with lamb & hollandaise) was superb, our drinks were frothy & strong & our dessert of Baklava Pancakes was to die for, ambience just warm without music blaring either, & they happened to play a favorite piece of music of mine :) I normally don't write reviews but everybody was so welcoming & the food well worth it that I couldn't resist. If you're an out of towner, this is just a treat to have such delicious & beautiful food served in your Montreal assiette! Enjoy. You must go, & reserve ahead!
As always, a great meal & warm service was received. This time around it was brunch, which proved to be as delicious as the dinner menu. One of my favorite places to dine. A neighborhood gem!
Really enjoyed the brunch! Delicious plates, generous portions good for sharing. Service was also excellent & the restaurant is very spacious & comfortable! Would definitely recommend & will be back!
We went for a family brunch in Sunday morning. The menu was amazing! It has this little something that will suit anyone taste. Light heavy salty sweet, or a bit of everything & you share ... For sure you will find one or many things that please you. The presentations & taste, wow.
The only thing to improve perhaps would be to have a warmer greeting as we step in the restaurant.
Absolutely outstanding brunch with impeccable service overall. Food portions are generous, prepared excellently, & created to heighten the culinary experience at this restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at SHAY & looked forward to our next visit!
Un des meilleurs endroit pour bruncher! C'était la première fois que j'y allais & j'ai été très agréablement surprise. Le service est top, la nourriture est impeccable & les prix sont très abordables. Le concept de brunch libanais est incroyable, je n'ai rien a dire c'était parfait. L'endroit est super joli, franchement, j'ai hâte d'y retourner.
