Shay offre une ambiance chaleureuse et moderne avec une décoration soignée, une terrasse agréable et un service attentif et efficace. La cuisine libanaise contemporaine est savoureuse et bien présentée, avec une belle variété de mezze, de dips et de plats de viande qui séduisent aussi bien en brunch qu'au dîner. Le brunch est particulièrement apprécié pour ses plats signatures comme le shawarma eggs Benedict et les baklava pancakes, ainsi que pour les options végétariennes généreuses; le tout est accompagné d’un cadre dynamique et convivial qui donne l’impression d’une expérience soignée dès la première visite. Le personnel est souvent décrit comme chaleureux, sympathique et professionnel, et l’atmosphère est propice à des repas entre amis, en famille ou en couple. Brunch at Shay delivered the kind of experience that reminds you why the ritual of brunch deserves to be done well. From the moment we sat down, the service set the tone. Layla, our beautiful bubbly server, brought warmth & attentiveness that elevated the entire meal, while the floor manager moved through the room with the kind of thoughtful presence that signals a restaurant that truly cares about hospitality.
The bottomless mimosas were generous & consistently refreshed, the kind of offering that feels celebratory without becoming intrusive to the flow of the meal.
We ordered several dishes to share, which proved to be the right approach given the restaurant's notably generous portions. The shakshuka was deeply flavourful, its rich tomato base layered with light spices that made it both comforting & satisfying. One portion was more than enough for our table of four, & we still had some left behind.
The shawarma eggs benedict offered a creative twist on a classic. The dish balanced savoury shawarma spices with the richness expected from a good benedict, resulting in something both familiar & distinctive.
The lamb & eggplant tartine was perhaps the standout of the table: buttery, decadent, & beautifully composed. The combination of tender lamb with silky eggplant created a dish that felt indulgent yet balanced. It was my first time trying it, & it alone is reason enough to return.
For something sweet, we got the baklava pancakes. Fluffy & well-structured, they captured the nutty, honeyed essence of baklava without tipping into overwhelming sweetness. They are undeniably filling, so sharing is the wise choice.
The atmosphere tied everything together. The DJ played a relaxed selection of R&B that added energy to the room without overpowering conversation, a small but thoughtful detail that made the brunch feel lively yet comfortable.
Overall, Shay delivers a brunch that is generous in both flavour & hospitality. The menu rewards sharing, the service is attentive, & the atmosphere strikes the right balance between vibrant & relaxed. It's the kind of place you leave already planning your return, as we did.
Also, we were honoured with tasting their upcoming drink, we are excited for the summer.
Belle expérience au Shay. Du service à la cuisine, on y retrouve un professionnalisme qu'on ne voit plus beaucoup de nos jours. Notre serveuse était dévouée & avait une parfaite maîtrise de la carte. L'ambiance est zen, autant pour un dîner en couple qu'entre amis. Je recommande.
Came here for dinner with my husband. The food was amazing but the company was better. Megan really took care of us & w e had a great night out. Great food, great ambiance! Will come again for sure

Came here for a Valentine's Day dinner, & had the best experience from food to service. Our server Shawn came through with the best vibe & recommendations, like the Brussels sprouts & lamb chops, making our experience here extra pleasant! Definitely recommend, & would come here again ☺?

Un service tout simplement incroyable : attentionnée, drôle, authentique & franchement mémorable. Elle a su créer une ambiance tellement agréable qu'on se sent accueilli comme si on faisait partie des habitués… dès la première visite.
Professionnelle sans être rigide, chaleureuse sans être envahissante - un équilibre parfait. Elle a clairement contribué à faire de notre dîner une expérience exceptionnelle.

Fantastic brunch! Everything looked good on the menu, a star meant chef's recommendations, plus our server Sabrina pointed out her personal favs. We went with her suggestions & enjoyed them so much. Highly recommend the Lamb leg & eggplant tartine & shakshouka. Very flavourful & filling.
I visited SHAY today & had a wonderful experience. I ordered the lamb with eggplant, & it was excellent. The flavors were authentic & well-balanced, & you can tell the ingredients are high quality.
The lamb was tender, & the side of crispy potatoes & pickled red cabbage provided the perfect contrast. If you're looking for great Middle Eastern-inspired cuisine with a modern touch, this is a fantastic spot. The food tastes as good as it looks!

Great food overall. We tried the shawarma eggs Benedict, lamb Reuben, waffles with fried chicken, & the baklava pancakes-everything was excellent. The service was just as good: kind, fast, & very helpful.
L'ambiance sur la terasse est vraiment super, le staff est aussi très agréable. J'ai commandé le Shawarma Egg Benedict très bon mais j'ai trouvé qu'il manquait un peu de goût. J'ai également essayé le Chicken & Waffle ainsi que le Kataifi Chocolate French Toast qui étaient très très bons.
Got a last minute reservation for 2 at the bar here for Sunday brunch. Every time I come I always say I need to come more often! The food is absolutely delicious, the ambiance is vibrant & fun & most importantly, the staff look like they really love their jobs. Shout out to Josh & Sean for the lively & entertaining service! Will be back again soon! :)

My friends & I were visiting the area for a birthday brunch & this place did not disappoint. The ambiance is so aesthetically pleasing & beautiful. The staff were pleasant, attentive & funny. The music was one of the best parts, great playlist. I got the breakfast sandwich & my friends got the hachis makanek & the omelette soujouk. Everything tasted so fresh & flavorful. The potatoes were crisp, the halloumi was so tasty, & the chai lattes were great (tasted more like espresso than chai to me, however, I did not mind it). I will definitely plan to visit when I am in the area again.
