Shawarmaz est largement apprécié pour ses portions généreuses et ses plats savoureux, avec des wraps, des bowls et du saj accompagnés de sauces variées et d'un riz ou d'accompagnements qui tiennent bien au corps; le service est rapide et courtois et l'équipe est décrite comme accueillante, avec un bon rapport qualité-prix et une forte propension à la commande à emporter; la nourriture est souvent qualifiée de excellente et certains estiment que c'est l'un des meilleurs shawarmas de Montréal, mais quelques notes critiques mentionnent des patates parfois fades, des plats parfois trop arrosés de sauce et, dans un cas, une expérience d'allergie alimentaire qui suscite de l'inquiétude malgré l'assurance de l'absence de noix; l'ambiance peut être bruyante selon l'établissement.
Upon entering, I see three kiosks, & I think to myself that well that's horrible that they got rid of people's jobs for ordering. Use the kiosk & then it turns out that you could just go & order at the line. People that had walked in after I had already finished my order at the kiosk had their food five minutes before I had. Then when it came to me, wondering where my food was there was a mass confusion, & it was quite disorderly. I've had food from this place several times now, & it is always the same. They always seem to be confused on whose order is what! I'm done going here.
Food is half decent (though not best Lebanese in area) only moderately fresh, sauce did not come standard, had to pay extra, & portion size wasn't generous. I consider delivery from here bad value for money. Won't be reordering
Great place to try the delicious spinning meats. The mixed large wrap was great & the sauces were just right. I could still smell the tasty goodness on my hands the next day.
Shawarmaz is easily one of the best shawarma spots in Montreal. The shawarma is incredibly delicious, full of flavor, & always fresh. Their Sushi Shawarma is something unique & a must-try - it tastes amazing & you won't find it like this anywhere else.
The staff are very friendly, welcoming, & provide great service. Every visit is a great experience.
If you're in Montreal & love shawarma, Shawarmaz is definitely a must-visit!
Alright i wanted to add a picture but i had to dig in.
First of all, i thought this was'another shawarma spot' we had to try out.
Negative, this is a place that just happens to sell shawarma & excels at subs ! They have no business making subs that good but my goodness do they ever.
Also consistent, this is 3rd time in about 10 days we come here, every.single.time. blew it out of the park.
The portions are amazing, you will eat, you will enjoy & the price is right. Honestly, go for it. & the staff at st. Catherine location are great to deal & generous. 10/10
