Café Shaughnessy est un café indépendant situé au centre-ville de Montréal dans le village Shaughnessy. Nous servons du café de spécialité issu du commerce direct et des viennoiseries maison, le tout dans une atmosphère relaxe.
Shaughnessy Café est décrit comme un endroit chaleureux et cosy, avec un excellent café et un personnel accueillant, et une ambiance éclectique dans un cadre en sous-sol. Les boissons, du espresso fort aux latte plus doux, sont souvent saluées pour leur qualité et certains apprécient les touches personnalisées et la belle mousse. Les pâtisseries, en particulier les croissants aux amandes, reçoivent de nombreux compliments, et les soirées vin et tapas sont mentionnées comme un plus plaisant. This is my go-to cafe in my neighborhood & I always appreciate the top notch service from the barristas. It really makes all the difference, so much so that even if I have a coffee machine at home, I still love to make an excuse to go there. They put so much care into the sandwich & food preparation as well. Always looking forward to my next visit!
My go to place in my neighborhood to get coffee , the best & most diverse coffee beans selection, great & delicious pastries & food , & he coffee taste delicious every single time ! The vibe is super chill , great tunes & the staff is extremely friendly & always with a smile :) thank you guys !!!

This is a super cozy café, tucked away in the basement. It has lots of tables, & while it's not huge, it creates a really cool, productive vibe. It's popular with people who come to work, study, & just hang out.
As for the main event, the pastries here are absolutely top-notch! 🥐 They are always fresh & so delicious-you have to try them. The coffee is amazing: strong, aromatic, & perfectly roasted. It's the perfect boost of energy! ☕

Excellent (albeit super tiny) cappuccino. However, the almond croissant was the worst ever croissant created. Soggy, no taste of almonds, no difference between crust & filling....& all this after asking if the croissant was fresh... I don't want to imagine what was a not fresh croissant.
With that, the salmon sandwich that my spouse had was great. Her espresso was also very good.

I've been this place a few times to buy beans & they have great selection. However recently I ordered a cold brew & waited 8 people in front of me. Cold brew should be premade & super fast. But I waited, I thought barista is taking time to make it. But it turned out that they missed. No serious apologies. Very dispointed. Would want to sit down & enjoy the coffee but didn't have any mood anymore. Bye
Absolutely lovely experience! The barista was so helpful & chatty about coffee & even went out of their way to make us drinks even though we had come by during evening service.
Drinks were amazing & they had a stunning spread of retail bags from roasters that are otherwise hard to find. Can't wait to come back! ☺?
