My go to place in my neighborhood to get coffee , the best & most diverse coffee beans selection, great & delicious pastries & food , & he coffee taste delicious every single time ! The vibe is super chill , great tunes & the staff is extremely friendly & always with a smile :) thank you guys !!!

I checked out a really interesting place-Shaughnessy Café at 1455 Rue Lambert-Closse, Montreal, Quebec H3H 1Z5!
This is a super cozy café, tucked away in the basement. It has lots of tables, & while it's not huge, it creates a really cool, productive vibe. It's popular with people who come to work, study, & just hang out.
As for the main event, the pastries here are absolutely top-notch! 🥐 They are always fresh & so delicious-you have to try them. The coffee is amazing: strong, aromatic, & perfectly roasted. It's the perfect boost of energy! ☕
The staff is super friendly & always happy to help. 😊

Lovely artsy café in a beautiful vibrant neighborhood. Great coffee (espresso) with Canelé & they also serve vermut & wine testing. Felt almost like in Barcelona vibe.

Went for working & some matcha! It was delicious & the atmosphere is great. Very small but inviting, it has some british vibes (even though I've never been to the uk but that's the feeling :))!
Loved the vibes , loved the plants. They have a variety of cool products like sardines, olive oil, wine & stuff but damn I had a scone & I think there was mold in it. But I also had a chai & it was absolutely amazing. Also for anyone who care they have microbewery iPas & maybe neipas 9/10 would get moldy scone again if paired with their chai.
Just moved in the hood so went in to try their regular plain filter coffee. Vibes were very mile-end hipster, very cozy so 4 star for the ambiance though very very small. Service was good but $4 for a regular filter coffee that taste exactly like mcdonalds $1 promo coffee (mcdo is just 2 mins away). Weird that I had to ask for cream (usually many cafes have thermos of milk/cream at some corner) & the cashier just pour milk in my coffee even though I asked specifically for cream. NOT GOING BACK.
I've been coming to Shaughnessy for a few years now & I still think it's the best coffee shop around. The coffee is excellent & their Chai latte & London fog are the best I've had in the area by a mile. They have a big selection of pastries (always fresh & damn good) as well as food options (their breakfast sandwich, can be made w/o meat, is SO good & so is their chia pudding). The space is welcoming, has a great vibe, good music & is well set up for meeting up with friends or studying. The staff is dope & they have an amazing selection of beans, natural wines & coffee paraphernalia. Highly recommend!
