This is my favourite café in downtown! They have excellent coffee, & the size of their cup is perfect for maintaining the hotness. Also, they can absolutely manage the foam! The atmosphere is elegant & cozy. As an Interior Designer I must add that they used the space very well to place different types of seating. I certainly recommend!

I checked out a really interesting place-Shaughnessy Café at 1455 Rue Lambert-Closse, Montreal, Quebec H3H 1Z5!
This is a super cozy café, tucked away in the basement. It has lots of tables, & while it's not huge, it creates a really cool, productive vibe. It's popular with people who come to work, study, & just hang out.
As for the main event, the pastries here are absolutely top-notch! 🥐 They are always fresh & so delicious-you have to try them. The coffee is amazing: strong, aromatic, & perfectly roasted. It's the perfect boost of energy! ☕
The staff is super friendly & always happy to help. 😊
It's an excellent place that I happily recommend to everyone!

I like this special cafe,& some outside seats let us take a pleasure coffee time in the afternoon.the atmosphere is very nice,as with wonderful music & warm service.highly recommend！

Very cute little peaceful cafe in a busy area. I like the atmosphere & the flat white was very good. You can tell the beans are high quality. Would definitely recommend going, & if i lived in mtl i would go again 🥰

I've been coming to Shaughnessy for a few years now & I still think it's the best coffee shop around. The coffee is excellent & their Chai latte & London fog are the best I've had in the area by a mile. They have a big selection of pastries (always fresh & damn good) as well as food options (their breakfast sandwich, can be made w/o meat, is SO good & so is their chia pudding). The space is welcoming, has a great vibe, good music & is well set up for meeting up with friends or studying. The staff is dope & they have an amazing selection of beans, natural wines & coffee paraphernalia. Highly recommend!

Located next to the Forum & is in the basement floor. Although its easy to spot because of the big board. The interiors are done really nice. On a warm sunny day you can sit outside or you can sit & enjoy a book inside. We has a Croissant 🥐, Chocolatine, & 2 coffee. Total cam about ~ $18. The bakers item were fresh & coffee crisp. Surely recommend

The ideal cafe in Montreal - I'd strongly recommend it to all! I love the incentive to bring reusable cups to receive a discount (encourage zero waste behavior*!)
