Unassuming place on Maisonneuve street, close to Concordia metro. Thanks Fu Chun for the instagram contest & for the 50$, which enabled me to try different delicious dishes like the classic pork dumpling, fried pork & shrimp dumpling, wonton & the shanghai noodles. Malheureusement nous avons été super déçus de notre expérience.
La salade de concombres était bonne .
Les dumplings frits goûtaient l'huile à friture qui avait besoin d'être changée.
Les deux dumpling soup : certains collaient sur le papier parchemin & donc quand on en prenait un il se perçait & perdait tout le bouillon. La pâte manquait un peu de finesse.

The soup dumplings didn't hit as compared to Qing hua or harbin. The sauces are no5 flavoured enough in my opinion, it tasted too healthy almost . Maybe I like my food to have more depth of flavours. It felt like a very homey meal, lacking that restaurant taste. The place is cute & the portions are big tho.Voir plus

Fu Chun instantly became a restaurant we will be going to again & again & again as soon as we tried the Spicy Peanut Noodles. The service was excellent, food was to die for & the prices were incredibly reasonable. They also had a wide selection of beers, saké & soju.
