Had a great experience at Shandaar restaurant in Montreal.
I ordered naan & barbecue seems kebabs -both were fresh, flavorful, & cooked to perfection. The barbecue had that authentic chargrilled taste you'd expect from a top-tier desi spot.
I also tried their Karahi, which was rich, well-spiced, & came out sizzling hot. Portions were generous & service was quick & friendly.
Highly recommend for anyone craving real Pakistani flavors in the city.
The food was amazing!!! It was our first time there & the owner was the sweetest. I honestly never had such welcoming & good service in a restaurant. I've been going to a few Indian restaurants but never had Pakistani food & I will for sure come back!

A Memorable Anniversary Celebration at an Exceptional Pakistani Restaurant
We recently had the pleasure of celebrating a special anniversary at this outstanding Pakistani restaurant, & the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Atif & his colleague, whose hospitality set the tone for a truly delightful evening. Their kindness, attentiveness, & genuine passion for great service made us feel like honored guests rather than just customers.
The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, creating the perfect setting for a memorable night. But what truly stole the show was the phenomenal food. Each dish was a masterpiece of rich flavors, fragrant spices, & impeccable presentation.
We started with the Shandaar Lamb Agneau Karahi, a dish that lived up to its name-bold, flavorful, & cooked to perfection. The tender lamb pieces were immersed in a thick, aromatic gravy with just the right balance of spice, making every bite a delight.
Next came the Butter Chicken, a true classic, & this restaurant's version was nothing short of exceptional. The velvety, creamy tomato-based sauce had the perfect blend of sweetness & spice, coating succulent pieces of chicken that simply melted in the mouth.
The Lamb-Agneau Biryani was another highlight of the evening. Fragrant basmati rice, infused with saffron & spices, was layered with perfectly cooked lamb, resulting in a dish that was both flavorful & satisfying. The depth of the spices & the tender meat made it an absolute must-try.
To accompany these delicious mains, we enjoyed freshly baked Garlic-Ail Naan & Plain Naan-Naan, both of which were warm, soft, & perfectly charred. The garlic naan had just the right amount of garlicky richness, complementing the curries beautifully.
To round off this incredible feast, we ended with Kadak Chai, a robust, aromatic tea that provided the perfect finale to an already exquisite meal. The strong, well-spiced flavors were soothing & left us feeling completely satisfied.
From start to finish, this dining experience was truly special. The combination of outstanding food, exceptional service, & a welcoming atmosphere made our anniversary celebration unforgettable. If you're looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine served with warmth & excellence, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!
As a pakistani, this was a nice experience! The food was good! Most desi restaurants seem usually'mid' to me but this one was quite aesthetically pretty & the food was fair! 👌🏻

Literally I became a huge fan of shandar Pakistani food & chicken karahi. So tasty & after a very long time got actual taste of food..Services are so quick...100% Recommended.
A really cute & cozy restaurant! Id definitely recommend for families who are craving pakistani cuisine. A must try would be their mango lassi & butter chicken!

Shandaar is a delightful restaurant that offers a vibrant culinary experience. The ambiance is warm & inviting. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable, guiding you through the extensive menu with ease. The food is where Shandaar truly shines. The flavors are bold & authentic, with a perfect balance of spices. We particularly enjoyed the butter chicken, which was creamy & rich, & the chicken biryani, which was fragrant & flavorful. The naan was soft & fluffy, the perfect accompaniment to the main courses. Overall, is a great choice for anyone craving authentic pakistanis & indian cuisine.
I had chicken charsi & creamy chicken handi garlic naan & everything was absolutely amazing The chicken charsi is to Die for & Atif (the owner) is super welcoming This place is a Must visit if you are looking for authentic pakistani food Dont forget the special kulfi thats a cherry on the cake Definitely going back
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shandar Cuisine in Montreal, & I can confidently say it's one of the best culinary experiences I've had in the city. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm & inviting, with a perfect blend of modern & traditional decor. The staff were attentive, friendly, & knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food at Shandar is absolutely exceptional. Each dish was bursting with flavor & beautifully presented. The spices were perfectly balanced, & you could tell that only the freshest ingredients were used. I highly recommend trying their kebabs, which were tender & cooked to perfection. The chicken pakora were also standout starters - savory, flavorful, & rich in texture. What truly sets Shandar apart is its dedication to quality & authenticity. It's clear that the chef is passionate about his craft, & that dedication shines through in every bite. Whether you're a fan of Indian/Pakistani cuisine or just looking for a unique dining experience, Shandar Cuisine is a must-visit. I can't wait to return & try more of their incredible dishes. First time we visited this new restaurant. Love that it is a mixture of Indian, Pakistani & Asian food. The samosa was incredible & the chicken & lamb choices had a Pakistani flavor. Service was excellent, loved the family vibe. Will definitely be back.
