Had a great experience at Shandaar restaurant in Montreal.
I ordered naan & barbecue seems kebabs -both were fresh, flavorful, & cooked to perfection. The barbecue had that authentic chargrilled taste you'd expect from a top-tier desi spot.
I also tried their Karahi, which was rich, well-spiced, & came out sizzling hot. Portions were generous & service was quick & friendly.
Highly recommend for anyone craving real Pakistani flavors in the city.
Start with food orderd shandar authentic karahi it was super delicious good amount of chicken in karahi full masalydar just like we are eating in pakistan also daal also the best in montreal owner so friendly did cooking by him self atmosphere amazing nice clean i highly recommend just go try you won't be disappoint

We recently had the pleasure of celebrating a special anniversary at this outstanding Pakistani restaurant, & the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Atif & his colleague, whose hospitality set the tone for a truly delightful evening. Their kindness, attentiveness, & genuine passion for great service made us feel like honored guests rather than just customers.
The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, creating the perfect setting for a memorable night. But what truly stole the show was the phenomenal food. Each dish was a masterpiece of rich flavors, fragrant spices, & impeccable presentation.
We started with the Shandaar Lamb Agneau Karahi, a dish that lived up to its name-bold, flavorful, & cooked to perfection. The tender lamb pieces were immersed in a thick, aromatic gravy with just the right balance of spice, making every bite a delight.
Next came the Butter Chicken, a true classic, & this restaurant's version was nothing short of exceptional. The velvety, creamy tomato-based sauce had the perfect blend of sweetness & spice, coating succulent pieces of chicken that simply melted in the mouth.
The Lamb-Agneau Biryani was another highlight of the evening. Fragrant basmati rice, infused with saffron & spices, was layered with perfectly cooked lamb, resulting in a dish that was both flavorful & satisfying. The depth of the spices & the tender meat made it an absolute must-try.
To accompany these delicious mains, we enjoyed freshly baked Garlic-Ail Naan & Plain Naan-Naan, both of which were warm, soft, & perfectly charred. The garlic naan had just the right amount of garlicky richness, complementing the curries beautifully.
To round off this incredible feast, we ended with Kadak Chai, a robust, aromatic tea that provided the perfect finale to an already exquisite meal. The strong, well-spiced flavors were soothing & left us feeling completely satisfied.
From start to finish, this dining experience was truly special. The combination of outstanding food, exceptional service, & a welcoming atmosphere made our anniversary celebration unforgettable. If you're looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine served with warmth & excellence, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!
We arranged our sons first birthday party here. First of all the experience was amazing the foods were great the service was top notch. The owner allowed us full access & also gave us space to decorate the day before the event. They were helpful every step of the way. I would highly recommend anyone planning an event to do it here

Shandaar Restaurant is an excellent place-very clean & beautifully maintained. The food was absolutely amazing, & the staff was incredibly nice & friendly. One staff member, in particular, stood out-a girl from Pakistan. Although I didn't get her name, she was very kind, respectful, & professional. Highly recommend this place!

The staff were attentive, friendly, & knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food at Shandar is absolutely exceptional. Each dish was bursting with flavor & beautifully presented. The spices were perfectly balanced, & you could tell that only the freshest ingredients were used. I highly recommend trying their kebabs, which were tender & cooked to perfection. The chicken pakora were also standout starters - savory, flavorful, & rich in texture. What truly sets Shandar apart is its dedication to quality & authenticity. It's clear that the chef is passionate about his craft, & that dedication shines through in every bite. Whether you're a fan of Indian/Pakistani cuisine or just looking for a unique dining experience, Shandar Cuisine is a must-visit. I can't wait to return & try more of their incredible dishes. Went for dinner with my wife The owner recommended us the chicken karahi... It's was absolutely sublime, the best I had in Montreal, highly recommend it with naan. Samoussa as well very good as starter with chutney coriander, super combination Will definitely go again to try the other karahis
I recently dined here & had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm & inviting, with friendly staff who made sure we were well taken care of. The menu offered a great variety of dishes, & everything we ordered was delicious & beautifully presented. I especially loved white chicken. It's a great spot for a relaxed meal with family or friends. Highly recommend!
I just heard about this place opening up & was really excited about the great reviews online! I went in for dine-in & ordered the white chicken karahi, garlic naan, & the chicken tikka platter. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. The owners were really passionate about their restaurant & went above & beyond to provide us with amazing & friendly service. Will definitely be returning to try everything else on the menu! Highly recommend!
