Amazing food & hospitality at Shandaar cuisine that's run by a beautiful family. It was lovely meeting Uzma & needless to say the food was so delicious. Never found any taste so close to Karachi! We ordered chicken Karahi, chicken tikka, beef kebab, biryani, mint margarita & lassi. We ended up overeating as niyat nahi bhar rahi thi. Must must visit if you're in Montreal! The warmth would feel like home!

I absolutely loved the food. The chicken karahi was spiced to perfection, the garlic naan was fresh & crispy, & the chicken biryani was hearty & delicious. Everything paired perfectly with the cilantro chutney. Also, the food was cooked to order. However, the chicken karahi had a lot of small bone fragments hidden in the sauce, so we had to be very careful while eating. Some special care should be taken while cutting the chicken to avoid this.
The service was great (although only available in English). Someone came in & demanded a shish taouk with tzatziki, but the waiter was very patient & polite, & suggested a Pakistani dish close to that. Very professional.
I was looking for catering services for my daughters' 1st birthday celebration & Shandaar cuisine offered us an affordable yet great deal. We tried the food before placing a relatively big order & oh my, the food was amazing. Tasted like authentic Pakistani food. The chicken tikka, chicken kadai was very tasty. The spices were on point.
The owner is also very accommodating & warm. Uzma, offered us a wide variety for food tasting & accepted to tweak a few things based on our taste. We just wanted the beef kebabs to be spicier than usual.
The ambiance is nice & cosy, clean too. Great hospitality from the owner. Overall amazing food & service.
Ps. You can host events in there, they have a private room that accommodates about 50-60 people with a decent music system for weddings & birthdays. We got all in one place amazing food, service & ambiance too. Highly recommended :)
Tried this restaurant for the first time & I was impressed by their service. Super friendly & accomodating. Food was fresh & tasty. I really liked their Bbq platter, naan, fish pakora & the chicken tikka biryani. I will definitely come back & try their other options. Highly recommend
We went just because we wanted to have pakistani food.. but trust me the food is amazing, we taste is authentic. karahi chicken & garlic naan was heavenly. Lamb biryani was also delicious, it was not too spicy, masalas were perfect.

Absolutely incredible food. Had the Shandaar Chicken Karahi & Lamb Biryani. The chicken was probably one of the best dishes I've ever had at a Pakistani/Indian restaurant. Service was good. Seemed like only 1 guy was working that took our order & made our food, but we were the only ones there so there wasn't a wait.
All the food was fantastic but the biryani was absolutely fire, it taste like Karachi biryani , one of the best chicken biryani I ate in Montreal, really recommend their biryani & white Karahi & beef bihari.

I was looking for a good Pakistani/Indian restaurant in Montreal to go for a special occasion, & very happy that I picked this place! They presented the birthday dessert very well! 😍
Their Fish Pakora, Chicken White Karahi, & Beef Bihari boti are a must try!
Service was friendly & quick, & the food was quite presentable & most importantly very tasty.
J'ai passé une soirée incroyable dans ce restaurant. Dans une ville où l'on peut parfois être déçu par le rapport qualité-prix, cet endroit est un véritable souffle d'air frais. On sent immédiatement la chaleur d'un restaurant familial, où chaque plat est préparé avec soin & amour.
J'ai été particulièrement impressionné par la qualité des produits, notamment le blanc de poulet dans le Butter Chicken, qui était fondant & savoureux. C'est ce genre d'attention qui transforme un bon repas en une expérience mémorable. L'agneau, les naans... tout était un régal.
C'est exactement le genre de petit restaurant que j'aime encourager & que je souhaite voir réussir. Le service est excellent, la nourriture est divine & les prix sont très corrects pour la qualité offerte. Merci pour ce moment, je reviendrai très vite & je le recommande à 100% !

We were visiting montreal from GTA & decided to give Shandaar cuisine a try. Ordered chicken karahi, & it was a 10/10. We had been out & about all day & super hungry. We placed an order on the phone for pickup but later decided to switch it to dine in. The service was good, & the taste was exceptional. Truly authentic pakistani cuisine. The portions were generous, too.
The staff was welcoming & very attentive as well. We later ordered tea as well.
The ambiance, however, was a little dull in my opinion, & parking was difficult to find. Other than that, this place is highly recommended if you want to try authentic pakistani food.

We went there tonight for dinner & throughly enjoyed our experience there. We ordered Charsi Karahi, chicken seekh kebab platter with Naans. Everything was delicious & authentic in taste. The owner Uzma greeted us very warmly & even gave the complementary kulfa ice cream to our daughter. Exceeded our expectations! A must visit place for Pakistani authentic food lovers! Would surely revisit!
This is the best restaurant I have ever been to! You must try this. If you try this you will will not regret this. You must try the butter chicken. I love this so much.
If you like Pakistani food this is the closest thing to authentic you will eat . The staff is so friendly & the place is very clean. I went for lunch on a Saturday & the food was fresh & tasty . The spice level is just perfect . This place is a must . Must have is the fish Pakora & the chicken Kari bone less . This is my new favourite place & will recommend everyone I know
The food was delicious. The service was great. Had chicken & lamb biriyani. Also ordered paneer tikka masala. They gave us butter naan as a complimentary. Overall the experience was amazing!
