I've ordered zereshk polo, & Akbar joojeh from them, both generous meals, with good quality & fresh ingredients. Seems like finally there's an Iranian restaurant in Montreal with a real chef behind.
If you have ever tried Persian restaurants & had Persian kebabs, I strongly recommend you to try Shali Restaurant.
Besides the high quality dishes, the portions are enormous & delicious. Also I can say that the prices are very reasonable.

I have just been wowed!!
Tried the Barg (beef) & the Jooje (chicken breast) & loved them both very much.
Rice - excellent & not greasy
Meat - tender & great quality flavour
Chicken - outstandingly delicious
Salad - light & dances on the palate
Service - super friendly
Sweet Saffron Rice dessert - Wow!
Ambiance - relaxing background music
Cleanliness - All was clean & amazing
I need to go back soon.

Their quality changed alot. Their kababs are thiner than a couple of months ago! Im a longtime customer, & I was their customer when they had a diffrent location as well. The kababs were very dry, & overcooked!
I just finished eating here & was very impressed with the quality of the food! Fair prices for the incredible portions, good modern music, & the staff was quick & friendly. What more can you ask for when wanting authentic Persian food! 110% recommend.

The food at Shali Persian Restaurant is absolutely amazing-authentic flavors, beautifully prepared, & consistently delicious. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the service provided by Samaneh. She works tirelessly, always with a warm smile, & ensures that every guest feels welcome & cared for.
To be honest, the service quality depends entirely on her presence.
I sincerely hope the owners appreciate her value & reward her accordingly, because Samaneh is the heart of this restaurant.

If you're looking for authentic middle eastern taste, you've found it. The quality & taste of those grilled meats are just spectacular. Definitely more suited for groups as portions are huge & perfect for sharing.

I recently visited your restaurant & wanted to share some feedback.
The food was very good & the service was also great - the staff were friendly & attentive, & overall it was a pleasant experience. I really enjoyed the quality of the food & the atmosphere.
The only thing I wanted to mention is that I found the lack of a uniform for the servers a bit distracting. Some of the clothing, especially very short sleeves, didn't feel consistent with the professional image I expected. I think having a standard uniform or dress code could make the overall experience feel more polished.
I hope you take this as constructive feedback, as I truly did enjoy my visit & would be happy to come back.
The kebab was tasty & juicy. I just wish the chicken kebab had been saffron-flavored, but overall the quality of the kebabs was good, & I would recommend this restaurant

The food was really tasty & definitely worth the price(honestly better than many other Iranian restaurants in Montreal). The kebabs were very good, especially the kebab torsh, which was excellent. The rice was acceptable, though not perfect.
The service was generally fine, but water wasn't served initially, & when we asked for it, it took quite a long time to arrive. Overall, it's a good place for quality Iranian food, especially if you're there for the kebabs. Hope they keep their quality.
The food quality was good, but the dining staff were not professional at all. Dirty dishes were piled up on the table, there were no paper napkins available, & the waiters were not wearing appropriate uniforms.

I had a great experience at Shali Restaurant. The koobideh kebab was extremely delicious & the food quality was very high. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, & very welcoming. The prices were excellent considering the generous portion sizes. I would definitely recommend this place 🥰

Great food, friendly service, & a warm atmosphere. Everything we ordered was fresh & well-prepared, & the staff made us feel very welcome. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely a place worth visiting again.
Went with three friends & had an amazing meal. The koobideh was insanely juicy-honestly one of the best I've had. All the other skewers were equally impressive: perfectly cooked, full of flavor, & clearly high quality. Great portions & a warm, welcoming vibe. Bonus points for being bring-your-own-wine. Definitely coming back.
Amazing restaurant serving high quality authentic Persian food! The waitress was very friendly & provided excellent recommendations & fast service. The new Safran rice pudding (Sholeh Zard) is an excellent choice for dessert.
