I've ordered zereshk polo, & Akbar joojeh from them, both generous meals, with good quality & fresh ingredients. Seems like finally there's an Iranian restaurant in Montreal with a real chef behind.
This is the best Iranian kebab I've had in Montreal. The food is absolutely delicious, & the staff are incredibly friendly & welcoming. The whole experience was wonderful. I highly recommend this place if you want to try authentic Iranian food.
I landed in Montreal for work around 8pm & was searching for delicious & healthy options near the airport & found this gem! The kebab plates (both chicken & beef) are next level delicious & the best Persian food I've had to date. I ended up coming a second time on my way back to the airport & the tangy chicken kebab plate with rice & salad was amazing. Will be coming back on my next trip to Montreal!
Small restaurant, reserve in advance even for small groups. The food was delicious, very flavorful & fresh. The staff, although seems understaffed in a Friday evening, was very cordial, friendly & welcoming. I would highly recommend it.
We were a group of 7 nurse work mates. We were all extremely pleased with the taste of every dish we ordered. Easy to see & taste that the preparation of each dish was made as if prepared for family members. The flavor profiles exquisite.
The service staff were pleasant, inviting & excellent with the clients. BYOW was a bonus.
We plan to return. Strongly suggest you eat here.

We visited Shali for a birthday dinner based on recommendation by a work colleague. We booked table about a week ahead & they accommodated our group of 10 people with no issues on the Friday night of event. It was quite busy so I do recommend rsvp for weekend evenings. Prices are definitely not the cheapest, however the freshness & rich taste of every item on the plate did not make me regret my decision! Worth every dollar! Furthermore, the byob option kinda balance out the cost for the meal. Though they seemed short staffed for the service side, I really found it reasonable considering we were a larger table. I definitely recommend this restaurant specially for the die hard carnivores that appreciate the charcoal flavor infusion to their meat!
Service was great! The food was a festival of tastes! The staff members were so kind & attentive! We go there from time to time & the service is consistently excellent. Our favourite restaurant. Go with a combo & try different dishes!!!

Honestly, compared to other restaurants, the food didn't taste that special. The koobideh was the only thing that tasted pretty good.
For dessert, we ordered baklava with tea. The tea was really fragrant & tasty, but the baklava was awful - like, so bad that I almost wanted to tell them we didn't want it anymore.
As for the service, the restroom was dirty, which is honestly surprising for an Iranian place. Also, there wasn't even a single napkin on the table, so you had to ask the staff for one.
Overall, I'd give it about a 3 out of 5.
