Nous sommes arrivés avant midi dimanche, le salon était presque vide, pourtant on a du attendre 40 minutes pour mon entrée, & 10 minutes de plus pour la 2eme entrée car la serveuse l'avait oubliée. & même quand elle s'est excusé de l'avoir oublié, elle a pris son temps pour le commander à la cuisine. Service lente aussi pour les boissons assez simples: une limonade maison & une infusion. Finalement, on nous a apportés les desserts d'une autre table.Voir plus

Super friendly service, quick, courteous & attentive. We had fried calamari & the tuna & salmon poke bowls. The calamari was served nice & hot & crispy, the poke bowls fresh & tasty. Could have used just a little more fish. With such an easily accessible location, I would definitely go again.Voir plus

La nourriture était excellente, & il est évident que les chefs mettent beaucoup de soin & de talent dans leurs plats. Malheureusement, cette qualité culinaire a été éclipsée par un service médiocre. Je suis étonnée de voir que plusieurs clients ont laissé des commentaires concernant la lenteur du service, & je confirme que c'est toujours aussi lent & que rien n'ai été fait pour améliorer l'expérience-client. J'ai commandé une bouteille de saké que je voulais boire froide, mais j'ai été surpris de recevoir une bouteille à température ambiante. Lorsque j'ai demandé un seau pour rafraîchir mon saké, on m'a apporté une carafe remplie de glace. La serveuse a complètement disparu & n'est jamais revenue à notre table par la suite. De plus, le temps d'attente pour recevoir nos plats était interminable, plus d'une heure & demie. J'ai été amusée de voir combien de commandes à emporter ont été données pendant que nous attendions. L'ambiance du restaurant était correcte, mais l'expérience globale a été ternie par le service. Heureusement que la deuxième serveuse a été plus attentive à nos besoins.Voir plus

You have to do better. Can't charge a client 5$ for extra salmon & not give any salmon. All the vegetables were stale. I paid 30$ for 3$ worth of Rabbit food (lettuce & carrots)Voir plus

Nous avions réservé avec un groupe de 7 personnes. La nourriture était bien, par contre rien de wow. La serveuse a pris un temps superieur à la moyenne pour nous amener nos aperitifs, & a meme pris nos commandes avant meme avoir apporté nos verres. A 21h, heure de la fermeture, les lumières ont été allumé + fort malgré le fait que certains d'entre nous recevaient leur digestif. Un item des desserts n'étaient pas disponibles, mais la serveuse n'était pas au courant au moment de la commande....Voir plus

The food is delicious, & the service is excellent. Both yong ladies servers are professional, clean, & provide attentive service, taking care of every detail. The restaurant is also very clean, one of the cleanest in the area. I loved that the kitchen staff work in an open kitchen, so you can see how clean they are. They wear masks & scarves, which is great because, in many restaurants here in Montreal, hygiene isn't always respected, but here at Sesame, everything is spotless. I truly enjoyed everything! After trying several Asian restaurants in Montreal, I can confidently say this one is the best overall, & I will definitely add it to my list of favorites.Voir plus

Wasn't disappointing but wasn't wow either for the price. A pretty average restaurant, definitely better South/South-East Asian restaurant options in the area, but I would definitely recommend this restaurant for hosting a dinner with large groups. Menu is confusing & all over place from boas, to pad thai, & calamari, but there's something for everyone! Service however was a solid 5/5, despite being a big group, everyone's food arrived at the same time.Voir plus

I order Sesame via UberEats quite often. It's usually quite consistent in terms of flavor & attention to detail (reading & executing on order notes). Tonight, we ordered & I was quite disappointed by the quality of the food. My husband, son, & I all ordered the General Tao chicken & all of us had rotting vegetables used in our sides. & the vegetables were rotting to an extent that it could be detected by smell alone which is what drew my attention to the issue in the first place. When paying for food, I expect to eat something that is not on the verge of being thrown into the garbage, unfortunately Sesame wasn't able to meet that standard this time around.Voir plus

Sésame provided an unforgettable dining experience, combining amazing food with exceptional service. The two young servers greeted me with smiles that brightened the evening, making me feel incredibly welcome. I enjoyed a meal of soup, rice dumplings, & sake, each dish showcasing fresh tastes & a burst of flavors that was simply delightful. The chef & staff truly deserve a shout-out for their culinary skills & friendly demeanor. It was an amazing night all around, with each element-from the food to the atmosphere-coming together perfectly. A very nice, cute restaurant right next to Atwater market 😎 We loved the decor inside the restaurant ❤️ We started with wontons in peanut sauce followed by sesame salad & Beef Teriyaki 😊 The food was super delicious ❤️ For dessert, we had the Molten chocolate cake & it was also very good ! Nice food & portions, yet the service could be better. I consider this restaurant a nice discovery. I really liked the presentation, the taste & the portions. It was fresh & tasty. Regarding the service, it's difficult to get a waitress to bring more water or the bill. I went twice, once inside & the other time in the terrace, & both times I had the same experience. Both waitresses were out smoking - hopefully this can be improved because the food is really nice.Voir plus

This place is really going down in every aspect. Bao General Tao that we ordered came in paper in a steamer basket. My salad had no dressing, the sandwich fell apart & the chicken burger inside was completely dried & hard. French fries, on the other hand, were soft & tasteless. We left most of our baskets. No refill of water was offered, to try to get a waitress one would have to go for her inside. We waited for our three identical dishes full 25 minutes & the place was only half full. What happened?
