Step back in time to the retro 80s atmosphere at Sergiolino, a creation of Jacques Gaspo that pays homage to Italian-American classics with a touch of nostalgia.
Chef Sergiolino's journey into the world of Italian cuisine was fueled by his deep admiration and love for his mother, who affectionately called him "Sergiolino," or little Sergio. He dedicated himself to perfecting his craft, all with the goal of impressing her and expressing his gratitude. At Sergiolino, we honor not only his mother, but all caring mothers who put family first, inviting them into their homes with traditional dishes prepared with love and the finest ingredients.

------------------------- We went on a Thursday night, a group of 21, for 2 birthdays 🎁. Me & my wife had chicken 🐔 parmigiana & the salmon 🐟. I also tasted the meat ball, pizza 🍕& salad. Everything was excellent. Amaretto sour was perfect. It may look pricey at first, but the portions are huge, & to share. So have the waiter guide you. Ours, Matteo, was a gem. & the desserts are very good too 🎂. This is a 5 ⭐ for sure.
This is a new restaurant that opened in June 2024, located in the trendy Espace Montmorency area in Laval. It is situated right infront of Place Bell. There is limited free street parking, & lots of paid parking underground, however this restaurant waives the fee for the first 2 hours. Just present your parking receipt upon leaving for validation. The indoor parking is genius as it is connected directly to the restaurant via elavator. During cold months or bad weather you can leave your jacket in the car, as you will not be exposed to the outside. We were here on Saturday August 3rd, our group of 5 walked in for a table around 5PM & there was still room. The restaurant was packed by 6PM therefore reservations are suggested if you plan on eating after that time. I randomly saw this place on social media & was intrigued by the decor & concept. You will not be disappointed. The 80's glam & retro color & decor is tasteful & fun. Such a beautiful place to be in, they really went above & beyond with the attention to detail. Flamingo prints, neon signs, wallpaper filled with celebrities & icons from the 1980's era. Leopard prints, pink & greenish blue hues everywhere. Even the natural marble/granite countertop for the bar or bathroom sink area is specifically chosen in pinkish tones, which is something you don't see often in this age. Lots of gold/brass accents, from the door handles to the salt & parmesan shakers - they had unique gold lids instead of silver. There is a lot of booth seating, perfect for groups & outdoor area to dine in as well. The whole aesthetic is extremely pleasing & perfect to catpure photos. I can see how popular this will be for a birthday or special occasion. In terms of food, the menu has something for everyone. Mainly pizzas & pastas, & portions that you can select for an individual person or family sized to share. Our group started with the burrata & heirloom tomato appetizer which was drizzled in balsamic vinegar & oil - this was wonderful & perfect for dipping the complimentary bread in. So fresh & delicious. We then got 2 types of pizzas, the all-dressed & salsiccia, the seafood fettucini pasta dish, spaghetti & meatballs & rigatoni with rosee vodka sauce & chicken. The bread, appetizer & pasta dishes were standout - great portion & flavor. My pizza was lacking cheese & flavor - it was just OK. Seems like they skimped out on the toppings. Service was good, ambiance amazing, food good as well but not oustanding. The closest thing I have to compare the menu to is the "Enoteca Monza" italian restaurant chain. They also serve family sized portions & similar offerings. Most dishes are in the $30 dollar range, the appetizers were very expensive. The family style burrata & tomato dish was upwards of $40. They also have cakes & desserts made in house, save your appetite if you want to try it all. In all everyone enjoyed their experience but certain items on the menu are quite overpriced & pizzas were just so so- when you are paying upwards of $30 for a 14 inch paper thin pizza in a beautiful restaurant, I would expect something a bit more refined. I would come back for the pastas & general theme - I can't get over how beautiful this place is. LIke a quick vacation getaway.

We had a very nice lunch a few days ago. Pizzas for both, cocktails to go with. Service was fine, food was of quality but nothing outstanding as we ordered simple pizzas to be fair. Atmosphere is great so, we loved it ! However, the bill ruined everything. If on the outside it is written in large that service & tips are included, when the bill is delivered, that motto is completely forgotten & the first thing waiter ask while presenting you the machine is... a tip ! I am all in favor of all-included prices (European here). I am all in favor of tips if the service was exceptional. (& it wasn't) But I remain absolutely against this idea of overpricing items on the menu & requesting a tip in the end. That is simply a trick to double-crosd guests. & by the way, even a solid 20% deducted from each item (assuming these as tips) some remain incredibly overpriced !
Great new spot! The food is exceptional! It's nice to finally visit a restaurant that gives decent portions & the sharing concept is genius. I especially enjoyed their calamari & if you're a spice lover, definitely try their "Calabria" pizza. Enjoyed a wonderful Cosmo drink as well. Service could've been just a little better but the food/ambiance made up for it!
It saddens me to give this place 2 stars - technically, I would give it 1, but our server was amazing. This place is all about hype. Food is super mediocre & extremely overpriced for the taste & quality. We were 8 ppl, & food was brought out plate by plate with a minimum of 5 minutes between each person meal. By the time my sis & my pizza arrived, 2 ppl on our table had already finished their meal !!!! Our pizza was super salty, & the crust seemed to be those pre made crusts you buy from costco & just add your toppings. Now toppings, you can count the number of peperoni, green peppers placed on the pizza (we ordered the all dressed - it was barely " dressed"). The chicken was flavorless & so so so soooo dry & almost impossible to cut. The pasta was just ok, nothing wow or "omg where has this been my entire life". The only good thing of the entire meal was the bread. When bread was brought out, we asked the employee for vinegar & oil, & she never came back with it - when we asked another employee, she brought white vinegar & spicy oil 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Our waiter was super sweet. However, I had to remind him twice that it was my daughters b-day even though we had noted it when doing online reservation & when they called to confirm the reservation I repeated & she advise it's noted, I also told our waiter when he came asking for drinks at the beginning. Overall, this is just a place to take IG pics, & that's about it.
Pretty damn amazing! From walking into the place all the way to the dessert, it was awesome! Book in advance, & try & celebrate someone, it's a lot of fun. Tldr.. Get the lemon chicken! Here's how things went down! Group of 5, reserved a few weeks ahead of time. Started with the Burrata & Cesar salad. Delicious & the Cesar is made table side! Probably one of the best I've had. Then we had a pepperoni pizza, Gnocchi in vodka sauce & Rigatoni Bolognese. My goodness! Where has this pasta been all my life! Then the piece de résistance... Chicken Limone! WOW! Just awesome! Had the tiramisu for dessert. It came out in celebration!! 🎊🎉 It's all served family style where we can all share. The ambiance is very 80s. The music, the vibe, the people... All top notch. Definitely worth the visit & worth the wait if you need to reserve in advance.

Three of us decided to try this new restaurant after a friend recommended it ! We did not regret it.The service ,decor & food were all Amazing ! Our lunch went on for hours & we never felt rushed! Maybe that's because they know it takes time to eat their generous portions ! We shared a white pizza with mushrooms , a house salad which had so many extras in it olives, artichokes, boconccino) & the shrimp scampis. The waiters & owners are friendly & seem genuinely pleased to answer your questions,,,whether they are about the food or their trendy decor. Cannot wait to go back again !
The eggplant parmegiana is excellent, the pepperonata is just like Mrs. D (mom-in-law) use to make & the pizza is delicious. The 1980's decor, music & vintage photos made the experience fun. Thank God we had no reservations as we were placed at the bar & introduced to Sophie & Esmet...service=AWESOME!!! -Grace & Mark
Take a trip back to the peak of excess at this new, incredibly decorated, lively & most importantly, delicious, restaurant. The impeccable atmosphere & décor will have you feeling like you're partying in 1983 Miami. Music on theme, rounded retro banquette seating, branded matchbooks at the door, & rotary phones that actually work! The details showcase the owners' expertise & industry knowledge. Everything here oozes with nostalgia, & we love it! Flawless vibes aside, the food was equally incredible. A family-style, made-to-share menu, every plate comes in two size options. (except the steak & pizza) We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered, but we highly suggest the gnocchi a la vodka. With reasonably priced food & drinks, it's a perfect group outing (like for ladies' night!). We ate way too much & had leftovers on top of it. All that & absolutely wonderful & friendly service provided by @stelladumaiss. We loved our first experience & will definitely return with more people.
Amazing music & atmosphere. I ordered pasta with ricotta & broccoli. There wasn't any ricotta & my broccoli was hard. My husband ordered a pizza & the crust was cooked well but getting to the middle of the pizza was wet & floppy not a New York Style pizza. I asked for tea ran out. No sugar brought to the table for our coffees & coffees watered down. Our waiter tried very hard & was very kind. A little surprised we were charged for parking $10. Which other restaurants around the area cover the charge. In all I would return

15/10 for sure! The decor was outstanding, loved the 80's theme the attention to detail was just spot on. We had a reservation at 9pm & the restaurant was pretty full when we got there. Everyone from the the hostess to the busboys & waiters who served did an excellent job. They were all so kind, polite & helpful & always smiling!! The food was delicious; generous portions! We had the buratta, calamari, prosciutto di Parma pizza, ricotta brocoli penne, cosmos & the Duran Duran sangria. Everything was so good. Worth the price in my opinion! The atmosphere was great, good throwback music. Will definitely be going back very soon.
