Sabaidee! Welcome to Sep Lai! We serve traditional Laotian food using many local ingredients to create unique and authentic dishes. As is the norm in Laos, all our dishes are made to be shared! Although you may find similarities with other Southeast Asian dishes such as Thai or Vietnamese dishes, Lao cuisine is a distinct cuisine with its own complex and exciting flavors. Full of fresh herbs, raw vegetables, flavorful meats and always accompanied by a basket of sticky rice, we are proud to share this cuisine with everyone, including vegans, vegetarians and those sensitive to gluten! We hope that the dishes of our parents and grandparents will inspire you with the same comfort and joy as they do us, and that you will exclaim: "Sep lai! It was delicious!"

What an amazing experience! At first I wasn't sure what to eat since I don't like fish sauce, but then I found out they can make most of the dishes without it upon request! Many of the dishes can be made vegan as well. The terasse is cozy & magical, & the food is so fresh & flavourful! This has quickly become one of my favourite restaurants. Highly recommend! ❤?

1st, i am Lao, & i can assume i'm an expert on Lao food, eating what mom have been cooking since i was born. Cozy atmosphere, we ordered 6 different stuff on the menu to try them all out. food is good & represents well the lao cuisine. the only thing that made me grudge a little bit was the price for a portion of khao niew, 8$ per portion (I have unlimited quantities at home). But then i came to think about how long it is to prepare that type of rice so it is justified. Congrats to the team behind the kitchen who are able to prepare that much different items without loosing on the quality!
