A great Italian food discovery in the West Island! We ordered a variety of dishes, & each one was flavourful & delicious. The portions were gigantic-highly recommend the veal scaloppini & the steak bavette. The only downside was the long wait for food, as it was a full house on Saturday night. We arrived at 7:15 p.m. & left around 10:30 p.m., as we had multiple courses. That said, our server was friendly, checked in on us regularly, & even took the initiative to follow up with the kitchen about the delays.View more

Fantastic place. Good is amazing..the decor is typical Italian style trattoria. Been going there for years..birthdays , night out ..etc...any reason is a good reason to go there. Portions are big , almost guaranteed to leave with a doggy bag.View more

Service & staff are amazing.
Love the fact that the food comes out steamy hot & stays hot for a very long time.
Kids menu is also available if your child is 10yrs old & under. Easy & free access to parking.

I've been here twice now, & both times I left extremely happy. The service is amazing! Even when the place is packed, the staff is fast, attentive, & super friendly. We didn't have to wait long for a table either. They even brought me a complimentary Caesar salad (a generous portion!) even though it wasn't included with my meal. You start off with a whole baguette for the table, served with olive oil & balsamic vinegar for dipping, which is such a nice touch! The food is delicious, the portions are huge, & there's such a great selection!! Warm & cozy ambiance too! Can't wait to go back!View more

We heard about this restaurant from some of our coworkers from Montreal. Being from Halifax we do have a share of Italian restaurants but this was next level.
Our staff member was Kaila. She was absolutely amazing. Our whole family remarked how efficient, friendly, caring & timely she was. The restaurant was very busy while we were there & that usually means the staff doesn't have the time to attend the tables as often. Not the case here. Kaila was there for us the whole time within minutes to check how we were doing.
So that's the service, let's talk about food. Huge portions or fresh cooked apps & meals. You could tell the chefs & cooks take pride in the quality of food & presentation. I can say, for someone who has travelled to Italy, this was the best pasta I've ever had. Delicious! Can't wait to return. Thank you Kaila & cooking staff.View more

Food portion is super, but except lamb.. lamb rack too tiny..we asked divided to 2 plates, but still .. most dangerous parts is toilet flash handle,, broken… super sharp.. hopefully can change better.View more
