They bring some baguette to start. Was hoping it would be great starter bread, but it was tasteless. I got a chicken Caesar salad. The portion was huge, but it didn't have bacon. I don't understand how they can make a Caesar salad & not have bacon. My girlfriend has a seafood salad. Again, huge portion. Was filled with calamari, smoked salmon & some shrimp stuff. Really tasty I'd still go back to try something else though.View more
The meal was excellent. Everything we took was delicious & well prepared. The service was 12/10. Takis was extremely friendly & efficient. The entire staff is running serving all the tables. Highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious meal.View more

For lunch, we had a chicken Cesar salad & seafood salad. The cesar salad was missing bacon, & the chicken was unfortunately dry. There was a bit too much sauce, although it was very tasty with freshly grated parmesan on top. The seafood salad had a good portion of calamari, smoked salmon & shrimp. The calamari was perfectly cooked not rubbery at all but there was no additional sauce to dip it in. The salad was perfectly dressed with a light but delicious vinegarette. Both salads were enormous & we weren't able to eat more then half. They also bring a fresh baguette with oil & balsamic vinegar but the bread although very fresh, tasted plain & somewhat flavorless. The interior is VERY old but you can also day it adds to the charm. Service was super friendly & helpful. The price was good for the portions we got but it's not necessary to have such enormous portions for lunch.View more
Every time I go, the food & prices are consistent. This is not a gourmet restaurant. But it's the best bang for your buck, hands down. Most notable is the genuine hospitality. You cannot beat the service here. Servers are accommodating; they engage with kids & families; they are friendly & seem to genuinely care.View more

Went with a group of 6 with prior reservations. This was a staple for my friend group for the last 2 decades. Hadn't been in a long while & although the service is still great, the food was a sore disappointment. I had the chicken fettuccini al funghi - the chicken was breaded & gross. Pasta was way too creamy & full of oil. The sundried tomatoes were chewy. 😔 Such a let down. Won't be going back.View more

This restaurant is located in the food belt of West Island. It has a variety of pasta, almost every dish is good with large quantity. The prices are reasonable. Each table also comes with baguette & vinaigrette. It is a good place to share & enjoy with families & friends.View more
This is a well known Italian restaurant in the West Island. It can be very busy & reservations are really needed if you want to avoid a long wait. It is very cute inside & does offer outdoor sitting. Noise levels are high & it is clear that everyone is having a great time. There are lots of interesting things on the menu.View more

Je ne comprends pas. Près de 3000 avis sur Google & la grande majorité sont positifs. La décoration est un retour aux années 70/80, ce qui me convient, mais ces chaises, ces chaises horribles qui ont besoin d'un rembourrage sérieux & intense. Le service était excellent mais disons que Ryan & Cole n'allaient pas m'adresser la parole en français. Heureusement que j'étais avec mes collègues de travail du ROC, je n'ai pas chialer. Mais la pièce de résistance était le plat. J'ai pris un plat de Spaghetti Carbonara. C'est un peu de ma faute, j'aurais dû lire de plus près, le menu, mais je m'attends à mieux d'un restaurant qui s'affiche comme reconnu pour sa fine cuisine. J'me pose des questions. Je ne voulais pas de la crème, & j'ai reçu un Linguini Alfredo avec de la pancetta dedans. Pas pour me peter les bretelles mais des linguinis ne sont pas des spaghettis. & un Carbonara, c'est bien simple, c'est de la guanchale réduites dans une poêle dans laquelle on verse les pâtes, suivie, non pas de crème, mais d'un mélange d'oeufs & de jaunes d'oeufs & de fromage Parmesan. Au lieu j'ai reçu un Alfredo avec du bacon déshydraté - parce que je doute que c'était de la pancetta, mais y'avait tellement de crème. Le gâteau au carotte (Italien ça?) était par contre excellent.View more
Great service, great menu with many different dishes & choices & most of all great food cooked to perfection!! On a busy night the restaurant is full too capacity & can get a little loud. The skirt steak meal with the mushroom reduction sauce was phenomenal 👌 Well worth the drive from Southern Ontario.View more
We've been coming here to Scarolies for decades. We've never experienced any meals or service that was not 100% quality! Bring your appetite as portions are large. Living an hour away, the trip is well worth it. We were recently there & Steve, our server for our special get together & all the servers were very prompt & professional as expected! Our food was piping hot & timed with our apps & entrees perfectly. Unfortunately, I didn't take the time to snap some photos of our orders!
