Great Italian restaurant near Pierrefords.
Went on a Friday night around 6pm. Had two people with no reservation. Places was very busy, but the front of the house is rum so efficiently & the wait was only like 15 minutes. To sit down. Service was friendly & helpful.
Had a could drinks to start, Daquari & a Negroni, both were decent size & tasted good.
The waiter brought us a warm bread with some oil & balsamic on side to dip into.
The Ceasar Salad was excellent, the dressing was flavorful & creamy.
For mains we had a Roasted Rack of Lamb, & the linguini pasta in cream sauce with shrimp & mushrooms (Linguini con Gamberetti alla Brandy Rosa)
We were stuffed, but couldn't pass up dessert to go for later. A strawberry cake, & tiramisu.
Overall the food was done well & tasty. The service was great. Atmosphere was nice & lively. Would be great to bring large groups, saw a lot of larger tables of 6 or more there (obviously with reservations).
Would recommend & will be one of our go to options when in the area in future trips.

Scarolies is everything I hope to have in a dining experience- attentive & knowledgeable service, excellent food & reasonable prices. It's clear the staff is in great communication, operations always seem seamless. It's a small detail but the traditional shirt & tie the waiters wear is refreshing to see- the employees there really seem to take pride in their work.
My husband is Italian & usually avoids Italian restaurants because the food is never as good as what he grew up with. However he loves the food here & felt immediately at ease seeing the traditional Italian decor.
I'd like to also give a special thank you to the staff tonight. I misspoke & accidently ordered the wrong kind of pizza. I felt really bad but the waiter, chef & owner/manager were so gracious about it. It meant a lot & I was also impressed with my waiter who, despite being new, was so personable, timely & professional!
Lastly, this is also a very family-friendly establishment! I have 3 young kids, one of whom is virtually allergic to restaurants right now, so it can be a bit intimidating going to a nice place like this. However we felt very welcome & everyone was very accommodating.
Thank you again so much to the owners/managers & all the employees, it is such a treat to eat here & that is all thanks to you!

Good Italian restaurant. A bit noisy if you want to come for a business lunch. Very family oriented. Lots of menu choices.

I've been told this is the best Italian restaurant in all the greater Montreal area & after visiting & enjoying the experience & food, I can't argue.

Everything we had was meticuously prepared & cooked to perfection!
Rack of lamb dish was exceptionally good!
Hubby had the vitello parmigiano with linguine in meat sauce & it was the most authentic Italian tasting tomato sauce ever!!!

I grew up in the West Island with Scarolies being the local, Italian staple. I recently tried the fried zucchini & am so disappointed in myself for not trying it sooner! It's absolutely delicious & the dipping sauce is amazing.

The best Italian restaurant I ever experienced, the pizza & mare pasta was really delicious. Staff are really professional & friendly & helpful & they try their best to enjoy the moment. I love the atmosphere & surroundings & paintings. I could not recommend this place any more. I want to go again & again to try different dishes

My family & I have visited eight countries, 30+ U.S. states, & countless restaurants around the world. Scarolies Pasta Emporium has been the most memorable experience thanks to their friendly staff who go the extra mile to their customers & their incredible food that I believe is the best Italian cuisine in the western hemisphere. We first went to Scarolies in the summer of 2023 & it was completely by fluke. It was late & they were getting ready to close but they sat us anyway (which is hard to come by in the U.S.) Our server was Indigo & we were immediately impressed by his captivating persona, literally by breaking bread. He executed expedient services, showed a genuine fondness of the job (including exploring opportunities in the U.S.), & was interested in getting to know us. We had the most memorable conversations with him that have stuck with us to this day. We decided to return to Canada the following summer, driving 9 hours to visit Montreal again with an intentional stop at Scarolies. Again, Indigo was our server & we couldn't of asked for a better experience. As for food, their bread is incredible - served hot & fresh with the full baguette! I highly recommend their fried calamari as an appetizer & the Penne alla Gigi for the main course.

I hadn't been to Scarolies for a long time. I decided to go have supper after my hockey game. I order veal scallopini with pasta on the side. I asked if the tomato sauce could be substituted to bolognese & the waitress said sure no problem. Everything was delicious! The veal sauce was so good, the veal so tender. The bolognese sauce was beyond delicious. I bought a litre of it & brought it home. My wife said, when you're on the West Island Sunday get some more!!! It's so delicious! We're Italian so we know good sauce. Service was great, prices are extremely good for the quality & quantity of dishes. This is now my go to place when I'm craving Italian food. Highly recommend it. Also the terrasse is so beautiful & romantic. It reminded me of Gianni's in Aruba.

Scarolies Pasta Emporium is a west island staple. It's been around for many years & whilst their menu could use an update, their food is classic & tasty. You can find a wide variety of Italian food ranging from, pastas, pizza, salads & a few others. The portions are healthy & have a home style to their dishes. I recommend to stick with a pasta dish rather than pizza, it's what they do, & they do it well. Definitely worth trying, I love the warm baguette dipped in the olive oil & balsamic vinegar! Lovely touch!

Absolutely amazing Italian pasta restaurant! The food, the service, & the ambiance were simply fantastic. If you want good Italian food in Montreal, you won't want to miss Scarolies! The lobster ravioli was superb!

The perfect Italian restaurant in the West Island of Montreal. Open for over 2 decades & hasn't lost its touch. Terrific oven baked pizzas, delicious lobster ravioli & you have to try the blue cheese cream gnocchis!

This is a well known Italian restaurant in the West Island. It can be very busy & reservations are really needed if you want to avoid a long wait. It is very cute inside & does offer outdoor sitting. Noise levels are high & it is clear that everyone is having a great time. There are lots of interesting things on the menu.

Been a while since I've been to an Italian restaurant as busy as this place, & a Wednesday no less. The atmosphere is loud, busy but fun. People laughing & having a great time that makes it feel like you're at a massive family dinner. The food was fantastic but be sure to come hungry, the portions are beyond most people's capacity to finish. The bread is fresh & the drinks are cold. Be prepared to wait a bit if it's busy but worth the wait. Highly recommended
