Food is alright. The sausage tasted like Italian sausage not breakfast sausage. It is also to thick. The bread was not toasted enough. The omelet part was delicious, as was the mayo. Very friendly staff & nice environment. The matcha was very good & had no lumps. It was whisked to perfection.

Went back, upping to 4 stars. The tomato soup is fantastic, full of interesting flavours. Strawberry matcha is delicious & you get a full pitcher. The grilled cheese comes with a delicious lacy cheese crust as well.

Sav Sav was one of my favorite matcha spots in the city - until this past weekend.
I've always appreciated their creativity with drinks, but this weekend the vibe was completely ruined by one employee (moustache man… it's clearly not just me…see other reviews 👀).
He made two matchas - one with coconut milk for me (lactose-sensitive girlie over here), & one with regular milk for my friend, who hates coconut milk. Then he plopped them down, said he didn't know which was which, & walked away. Not exactly the kind of attitude you want when you're paying $10+ for a drink…
I messaged the owner, who acknowledged my message… but no apology, no offer to make it right, not even a'sorry you had a bad experience.' Just bad taste all around.
Sadly, won't be going back - there are too many other good spots in this city that get both matcha & customer service right.View more

I tried their coffee & matcha-both were very good! The vibe inside the café is cozy & welcoming:) However, finding the entrance was incredibly confusing. The entrance looks more like a back door, so it would be super helpful if there were a clear sign or sticker indicating it's the main entrance!View more

Nice ambiance & friendly staff, but not the best spot if you're looking to study or work - most tables are reserved for dining, & the few available spots with outlets fill up quickly. The matcha latte is excellent: smooth, rich, & generously sized - definitely big enough to share between two people. The breakfast sandwich was just okay; the sausage had a strange herbal flavor that wasn't really to my taste, & overall it felt overpriced for what you get. Great for a quick coffee catch-up, but maybe not ideal for working or breakfast.View more

Cute café. Gotta know where the entrance is, check their IG. It's got tall ceilings, lots of sunlight (you might act actually end up with the sun too in your face in the winter low sun). Good food & coffee. I got a strawberry matcha (I think it's limited time) & it came in a big carafe so I could have easily shared.
Good spot to read, study, work, catch up with friends. There are some designated no laptop tables even. A cozy couch section. Some 2 person tables. Some communal large tables. I can't recall seeing plugs since I used my laptop battery.View more

Came here for a lunch date with my husband. Cute atmosphere & the service is amazing. We had the grilled cheese & with tomato soup & Iced Matcha latte was Devine 😋 The coffee was less desirable with a weird bitter taste. The chocolate croissant could have been warmed up. But overall we loved our experience & will be coming back again.View more

Cute lil cafe, kinda hidden as you have to go into the warehouse/building. We wanted to come for brunch but they told us the kitchen was exceptionally closed but then we saw a couple of people get food less than 30 mins after we ordered so that was a little sad! Nevertheless the service was great, it's a really cute spot with lots of seating (they even had outdoor seating). I got the matcha freddo & my friend had the HCMC coffee, I liked how my matcha wasn't sweetened! Maybe we can come back next time & be able to try the food.View more

Great food & drinks! I ordered a tuna salad didn't expect it to be this good ! It had caviar, slices of albacore tuna & potatoes with a delicious sauce to bring it all together. Also got the matcha daffogato where the matcha shot is cold with a refreshing vanilla ice cream. Highly recommend! Very good price for the dish as well. My friend got the breakfast sandwich which was tasty as well & nicely seasoned.View more

Le savsav est overhyped à mon avis, les lattés, que ca soit Matcha à Hojicha, ne goute qu'à peine la saveur, ils sont donc très dilués & peut gouteux. Quant à l'espace les gens sont entassés, quand il ne reste plus de place le matin les serveurs demandent aux personnes seules de changer de place aux tables communes pour laisser d'autre gens s'asseoir & ce même si ces personnes seules viennent de recevoir leur commande, absurde! Tout est très mid, sauf de design d'intérieur.View more
