Food was good & freshly made! Honestly taste like Japan since we came back from Japan recently it's amazing to taste same food again! Staff was very nice & we will come back! This restaurant needs more publicity ❤?🤩
The food was incredible! I ordered the pork katsu which came with a salad & miso soup. The pork was perfectly crispy & the portions were generous. I also got a green tea after the meal. The service was friendly, attentive & they didn't rush us at all. The restaurant itself has such nice decoration & a cozy atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful discovery for us!
Incredible everything! The food: splendid, the service: lovely, the atmosphere: GIVING!
The quality is even close to what I've experienced in Japan 🔥 we will definitely come back!
We discovered this wonderful Japanese restaurant & had an excellent experience. The staff were welcoming & were very helpful in explaining the menu & making recommendations. The authentic food was exquisite - the best we have had in a long time. We were encouraged to stay despite the late hour. Special mention of two staff members, Sara & Simone, who provided excellent & friendly service. Highly recommended!
impeccable food & service, best chicken katsu I've had, cool presentations, & great prices. will be back 💯
The ramen I had was absolutely delicious, easily one of the best I've had in a long time. My spouse & I really appreciated the warm hospitality & will definitely be coming back!
Idéal pour venir en couple, entre amis, famille etc. Excellent rapport qualité prix, accueil bienveillant, service souriant ❤?
Certainement un des meilleurs que nous ayons tester jusqu'à présent
What a nice discovery right in the neighbourhood. Delicious food, great service & ambiance. This is our new favorite spot! Strongly recommend, classic with a twist!
A new izakaya in the neighbourhood? Let's go!
The food feels authentic, serviced by friendly & responsive staff. A few original dishes that are satisfying to the eyes & the palate, while keeping the casual vibe of a Japanese bistro. The atmosphere has still room to find itself, maybe with more muted lighting & select music tracks. Recommended!
Amazing discovery! Food was delicious, the service was perfect & the prices were very reasonable. A must-try!
What a pleasant surprise to discover this place! After a shopping trip, I wanted some takoyakis & my researchs got me there. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be for a Saturday pm but everything was amazing! The food was good, hot & fresh. The service was phenomenal! They always made sure my glass of water was filled & if everything was good or if I needed anything. I couldn't finish the whole plate that I took an extra of but they packed it up for me to go. I really recommend this place! Good food, nice staff & cozy restaurant!
Only issue was the chicken katsu / panko chicken, while very tender itself, did not have enough curry sauce & it was too lumpy/dry. had the right taste but it wasn't authentic in its texture or quantity of sauce. it was surprising that eating the chicken with the curry sauce left zero curry sauce for the rice, so clearly they really didnt put enough curry sauce.
also in japan they cut the chicken katsu, it so you can enjoy picking up the chicken with chopsticks & not have to use knife, fork & chopsticks, however they didnt cut the chicken so you're required to cut the chicken yourself then eat it with chopsticks.
I am being picky but its the small details that elevate your dishes to be worth the price.
most dishes were quite tasty though, just could be optimized further, which is generally the staple of Japanese cuisine.
chicken karaage was decent as well.
miso soup was nothing special.
brussel sprouts were decent but needed a sauce or something as they're a little dry by themselves.
drinks are somewhat pricy as well, hitting a few bucks over other places. service was great.
