Satay Brothers comes across as a beloved, high energy spot in Montreal offering vibrant Singaporean and Asian fusion with a strong emphasis on sharing plates, perfect for groups and celebrations. Diners praise the food as consistently flavorful and bold, with standout items such as pork buns, papaya salad, laksa, satay, and various curries; the laksa is repeatedly cited as outstanding, the buns as must try, and the group menus highly recommended for big parties. The atmosphere is described as lively, noisy, colorful, and festive, with decor reminiscent of night markets and a hip, bohemian vibe, and the drinks including pandan daiquiri and spiked lemonade add to the experience. Service is frequently highlighted as attentive and friendly, able to accommodate dietary restrictions, though some reviews note that on peak nights service can feel stretched and wait times long. The staff are repeatedly thanked for going above and beyond and the venue is seen as an authentic, welcoming gem with a loyal following, often recommended for both casual nights out and special occasions. Reservations are not always available; guests often wait at a bar next door and still enjoy strong overall value and quality. Overall the consensus is that Satay Brothers delivers delicious food, vibrant energy, and a standout dining experience that keeps bringing people back.
A friend of mine who is a chef in Toronto recommended me to this place, & it did not disappoint. Food tasted amazing. The chicken skewers were so flavourful & tender, that peanut sauce was killer! Service & ambiance were phenomenal, & I truly enjoyed my experience here. A definite go-to in Montreal.
Not my first time here, but came here with colleagues who were first timers. Everyone loved, the food, atmosphere & especially the friendly & amazing service. I would also like to thank the staff for the icepacks they gave me to nurse my injured leg

One of my favorite place in town. Everything is good. My fav the soup & the papaya salad. The playlist is amazing. The staff is so friendly. Its a must
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. I highly recommend the fried chicken, laksa, & rendang. The mee goreng was just ok - not much meat & a little too salty. Skewers were a bit overpriced & underwhelming.
Great for larger groups - arrive promptly, because their set menu takes a while to get through (& is a lot of food). House beer is decent, & their food is incredible
Amazing food & really friendly service, from the moment I entered the door. The staff are all super approachable. The food & desserts were just incredible:) Will definitely be back!
It was a bit noisy & that can be annoying, but what I dislike the most was the little food served for 6 people vs the price. We were all expecting bigger quantities. I was a bit disappointed because of it. The service was great though.
Simply the best place in Quebec. There is nothing to compare to the style, vibe, quality of food or drinks anywhere. Plus the owner is one of the nicest people! Highly recommended.
