Very nice staff, Vanetta was our bartender & took great care of us. It was our first time in Old Montreal & she made us feel welcomed & the drinks were very good!

Blatant favoritism & manipulative tactics!!
We spent over an hour waiting at the very front of the line, & the experience was incredibly frustrating. The entire time, the bouncer kept stringing us along, repeating that it wouldn't be long while aggressively pushing us to buy a $260 bottle just to get through the door. After some hesitation, we actually agreed to buy the bottle just to get in.
Yet, even after we agreed, nothing changed. While we were standing right at the front-& being told over & over that they were'making space' inside-everyone around us noticed a blatant double standard. Multiple groups of white women were given immediate, special treatment & walked right past us. When I called the bouncer out on it, his only excuse was that he'knew them.'
The final straw was when we finally had enough & told him we were leaving. Suddenly, his tune changed to more fake promises:'Just 2 more minutes & you're in.' We had already been standing at the beginning of the line hearing'2 minutes' for over an hour.
Money isn't the issue here-we went to another spot right after & happily spent over $500 on drinks we actually wanted, rather than being extorted for a bottle we were forced into buying. The issue is the disrespectful, biased treatment at Santos. Save your time & your money, & go somewhere that actually values its patrons equally.

I just left the place a few minutes ago, terrible, I felt so discriminated, they gave us a sit right away but the menu never came I had to go to the bar & grabbed by myself, I went like ok whatever, the place is packed, but 10 minutes after that this white couple walked in to the restaurant & they were treated like a royal ppl, they even went sat down just beside us, so I can see & hear how they were treated, no fear, 2026 & we still have to deal with this discrimination, disgusting.

3eme fois que ça m'arrive, je viens bien habillé pour passer une belle soirée, ils lassent tout le monde rentrer sauf moi à plusieurs reprises & pou AUCUNE RAISON, une fois le videur me demande de lui donner du cash 40$ pour me lasser rentrer puis depuis ils me poussent toujours à payer en dessous pour me laisser rentrer, j'y reviendrai plus for sure
