We enjoyed both the steamed & pan fried soup dumplings. Both have perfect texture & a great balance of soup & filling. The prices are more than reasonable. A great ambiance overall, definitely has the Chinatown vibe but with a modern touch. The staff is friendly & the service is prompt & efficient. The combination of steamed dumplings that stood out the most for me would be the Pork & Coriander as well as the Sweet Pork, however there has not been a single flavor that I've disliked at this particular restaurant.View more
First come, first serve, but well worth the wait! The XLB are all so good & definitely get any of the fried dumplings too.View more
This place gets busy so be prepared to wait in line. Soup dumpling was my favourite, more than the pan fried dumplings. Cold peanut noodles were refreshing.View more
We came here for lunch on a Sunday & it was packed. We waited a bit before getting seated & we ordered three dishes: two Xiao Long Baos (the Shrimp & Coriander, & the Chicken & Mushroom) & one pan fried dumplings (the Shrimp & Cabbage). The food was super delicious. Our favourite is the Shrimp & Coriander Xiao Long Bao for its refreshing flavour. Nice & brightly lit restaurant with clean washrooms. Will definitely return in the future.View more
Reliably good pan fried & soup dumplings. Good value. Gets pretty hectic during busy hours.View more
First time here, but have been a regular at the Ste-Catherine location for years. First eating soup dumplings for my parents though, so I wanted it to be great & it delivered. Service could have been a tad more considerate, but it's not to be expected. Soup dumplings were very well made, plenty of broth inside, rarely broke apart. The shrimp ones felt especially plump & generous. Fried ones were also excellent, with a good crust, & did not open during cooking. The place is also nicer than the Ste-Catherine one, which is a different vibe but not bad.View more
The dumplings are good but lacked a sauce to go with it. They give chili oil, soy sauce, & vinaigrette but the chili oil wasn’t spicy. The wait for pan fried dumplings was also much longer than steamed.View more
