Loved the dumplings!!! It was intimidating to order 25 dumplings for 2 ppl but absolutely do able!! The steamed pork dumplings were superior to the beef & curry dumplings but that might just be a personal preference!! The service was very prompt!!View more

When into Chinatown looking for dumplings & I stumble into this restaurant. Hostess sat me right away. Recommend the classic steamed pork dumplings. They were delicious. When receiving them, let cool down a bit because broth inside is super hot. There is an explanation on the table for the dipping sauce. I recommend it! went there as a group of 8 during a weekday lunch, it wasn't crowded at all & we were immediately assigned a seat. the dumplings are delicious & very juicy. the food was served very quickly & we ordered quite a lot (~2 batches per person) it was a very pleasant visit & would definitely return if the opportunity comes up!View more

Went on a busy day, waited about 20 min for a table. The tables that aren't booths are very close together, we couldn't hear each other talking because the table beside were having s loud conversation. My partner couldn't even leave his seat without having to move the neighbors table. Felt like the dumplings weren't as soupy as last time I had some. Maybe it's a problem with the branch or the busy ness of the day.View more

great place to take your white friends & feel a bit culturally superior to them but then feel a profound sadness when they watch you eat a soup dumpling so they know how to'do it right.' i dont understand what tiktok has done to people its just a soup dumpling just dont be an idiot about it. anyways i always walk away from sammi & soupe with both my stomach & my wallet full. reminds me of a simpler time before i became friends with white people.View more
