Finally tried this place after seeing in on social media repeatedly, & it is WORTH THE HYPE. Food was amazing, tasted very authentic (coming from a Chinese) & the flavours were spot on. We tried the classic pork xiao long bao as well as the shrimp & coriander, the pork & cabbage dumplings, the pork & the shrimp wontons & the cucumber salad & they were all delicious. The service was nice & fast, despite how busy it was. Would definitely recommend.Voir plus

We've ordered here numerous times- our go-to is the chicken mushroom soup dumplings. They're delicious but definitely better served in person. We've also had the lamb coriander, shrimp coriander, beef teriyaki, & fried chicken& cabbage. Everything we've had is delicious. The beef teriyaki is unique & tasty. My partner & I visited Sammi & Soup in Chinatown, & it was such a treat! Despite how busy the restaurant was, the staff moved diners through quickly, & we were seated within 15 minutes. As a dumpling enthusiast, I was thrilled by the variety on the menu-fried, soup, & steamed options with so many delicious fillings to choose from. After much deliberation, we decided on the pork & chive soup dumplings, lamb soup, & sweet pork fried dumplings. The soup dumplings were absolutely incredible-bursting with flavor & perfectly tender. The fried dumplings were a touch greasy, but the pork filling was juicy & satisfying. The vibe of the restaurant is upbeat & casual, with a mostly younger crowd, making it a great spot for a quick, flavorful meal.
